WarmSoda,

I spent days in Wraith wandering around on the army map with just my party before finally figuring out I had an actual army too. Now I can’t find my camp to rest up in lol. It might be a failed campaign.

Don’t turn off the Context Tips, people.

WarmSoda,

If it’s an evaluation for the case, then it’s going to be used in the case.

WarmSoda,

“I have no idea what’s going on so I’ll question the normal process”

WarmSoda,

As long as they’re good I’m all for it

WarmSoda,

They gotta figure it out fast before they release that Starfield mod kit.

WarmSoda,

Looks like it’s individual games. But who knows how this’ll actually go down.

WarmSoda,

And that 15 years was filled with nothing but shark cards and other online only nonsense.

Don’t know why anyone would be excited in the least for a new GTA.

WarmSoda,

I looked into it and yeah, the only thing that made more has been Minecraft. And Minecraft made twice as much. GTAV made twice as much as the one below it.
That’s pretty crazy.

Don’t get me wrong, I completely understand why they focused on multiplayer. Im just a fan since GTA 1. They have a completely different set of values since then, and it’s too bad to see them degrade into Corporate Company No 1. So to speak.

WarmSoda,

Yeah I agree with that sentiment.

WarmSoda,

It’s not surprising a game from the last console has been in the top 20 until just now? 78 consecutive months it was there.

It’s not total sales. It’s sales each month.

WarmSoda,

Each month. Not total sales.

WarmSoda,

Doom mods for Civ 6? Please tell me that’s what you said

WarmSoda,

Same here, plus PSX, PS2, Dreamcast, GameCube, Wii, WiiU. There are hundreds of great games on all of those.

For some reason I seem to really enjoy everything up to 2017. After that it becomes scarce.

WarmSoda,

I’m thinking all the other civs are demons. The trick is the player/slayer can only destroy thier cities, not capture them. So the only cities you can actually have are player made. The rest you rip and tear through.

WarmSoda,

It says if something relies on the source version you can still use that.

WarmSoda,

This is a new version of Half Life 1

Steam Deck Owners: What’s been your favorite game that you first discovered on Steam Deck and now you can’t seem to put down?

Looking for those games that you may have heard about but never tried until you got a Deck. Or old games on systems you never had that you’re trying for the first time. Or new AAA games that just released in the last year or two that you picked up for the first time specifically to play on Steam Deck and have kept you glued to...

WarmSoda,

I have that. I was way too excited about it too. Unfortunately it’s more like a mobile quality version of road rash.

WarmSoda,

Cool. Figured it would be received well. The trailers looked exactly like how the game seemed to look back in the day.

How much are they selling it for though? It’s still a ten hour game.

WarmSoda,

I mean, it’s a rpg. A SNES RPG that’s 1/5 the length of other SNES RPGs.

I absolutely say $60 is too much for it.

WarmSoda,

Chrono Trigger is definitely longer than Mario RPG and twice that because of all the multiple endings.
Harvest Moon is 25 hours.
Earthbound is 30-35.
Dragon Quest 5 is 30 hours.
Final Fantasy 5 is 30+.
The list goes on.

The reviews for this game are saying it’s 10 hours.

WarmSoda,

I’m sorry you somehow think I sat down and calculated the 1:5 example.

This is still a ten hour RPG for $60

WarmSoda,

How dense are you. One fifth was an off the cuff number. I already said that. I’m not writing a dissertation on it lol

WarmSoda,

Wow that’s some really good attention to detail in this. I’m impressed.

WarmSoda,

I enjoy how all of the thieves guilds in ESO are these gigantic caves directly under every city. If ES6 doesn’t have multiple cities destroyed by thieves guild sink holes I’m going be upset.

Tamriel is made of Swiss cheese.

WarmSoda,

Hmm maybe levitation was banned because it’s all being used to keep cities in place

WarmSoda,

Me too brother. Me too.

WarmSoda,

No you’re fine. The other two people just decided to pretend you didn’t see the meme for some reason.
Kinda odd, really. But not a Lemmy bug or anything.

WarmSoda,

No problem. They’re just trolls looking for an argument, that’s all.

WarmSoda,

It’s unclear exactly what the developer’s standards threshold might be, given the mess that was deemed acceptable enough to release in the first place.

WarmSoda,

Tried and true method is still wait until patches and DLC fix everything. If they don’t have the patience to create a working game, I’m not rushing to by it.

WarmSoda,

Refunds hurt more than not selling a unit. So it’s actually a good thing you did it that way.

WarmSoda,

Dude. I got KSP1 way back when it was in crazy early alpha, before steam. Loved that game so much.

I haven’t even considered getting 2 at all. I actually forgot about it.

WarmSoda,

They’re going to have a hard time selling MK9 when 8 has a bajillion tracks.

WarmSoda,

You can’t play them solo?

I’m pretty sure I have the initial free booster tracks and I was able to play them solo offline just like any other course. It has been awhile though, I could be wrong.

WarmSoda,

Meanwhile at Bethesda:
Hey look, I figured out how to animate them to look at you! What? Walk naturally? No I don’t have time for that.

WarmSoda,

I wonder how many people reviewing the game even played the first one.

Also, seeing comments in reviews about how it’s ‘a good start’ make me sad about the state of the game industry, and how people are so willing to accept it.

WarmSoda,

Don’t forget the impenetrable wall of loading around each “city”

WarmSoda,

I’m under the impression that the original KSP team left a long time ago.

WarmSoda,

Damn the Switch is getting a lot of good re-releases.

If you’ve never played these games they’re turn based tactic mech games. Be prepared for an incredible amount of story. Like an insane amount of story everywhere. I don’t remember if 2 has “the Internet” in it though. That’s a whole nother layer of something.

WarmSoda,

These companies have always used the call center style of employment.

They’re ‘seasonal’ positions.

WarmSoda,

Fuck yeah. Give me passion projects made by people having a great time any day of the week.

WarmSoda,

They can raise the prices all they want.
I’m still only going to buy them long after all the patches and on discount.

WarmSoda,

Yeah goty is my preferred copy. Shit, those are usually on sale anyways.

If these companies can’t support their movie crew sized teams, then scale down.

WarmSoda,

This needs to repeated a lot.
