Hates this world, hates being stuck in it. Needs rescuing, needs understanding. Not happening. Only misery and extension of said misery happening.

What are the best games you can play on a laptop?

New Arc Line Is a Surprising Blend of Arcanum and Disco! - Early Access Preview Impressions [ACG] (www.youtube.com)
I decided to share this here because it’s always nice to see a promising new RPG. I especially like this trend that I first saw in BG3 where we’re animating the dice rolls on skill checks. I’ll take an animated dice roll over a lockpicking minigame any day.
For me, Cyberpunk 2077 was uninteractive and has low replayablility value.
Been playing this game for weeks. I completed it and then started a new game. The game’s story is excellent, but it absolutely does not justify the tedium it makes you endure to experience it. In a 40 minute sitting, I’d spend the entire thing simply having characters dialogue at me. What’s the point of the open world...
What are your favorite 1000+ hour games?
One thing I have struggled with lately is finding good games to play. I bounce around from game to game trying to enjoy it but it just doesn’t scratch the itch like it used to. For example, one of my favorites was old school RuneScape, but it hasn’t really been giving me the same enjoyment that it used to. So then I would...
Palworld Developer Reveals The Pokémon Patents Nintendo Claims It's Violating (kotaku.com)
Looking up those patents, the first alludes to a system where a player aims and fires an “item” toward a character in a field, and in doing so triggers combat, and then dives into extraordinary intricacies about switching between modes within this. The second is very similar, but seems more directly focused on tweaking...

What games would you recommend others to just play on easy difficulty
I am making my way through Yakuza series right now and while playing 5 I realized that I am not that invested into the game’s combat, so I turned it to easy and that just streamlined the combat so much for me. I would recommend to maybe try Yakuza 0 on normal at first and then just switch it to easy if you feel like the...
