W zamian za kolaż top albumów na podsumowanie roku 2023 – z reguły robię takie właśnie kolaże, ale tegoroczny jest dość monotematyczny, więc sobie odpuszczę – chciałabym pochwalić się takim oto rękodziełem, przy którym sobie dłubię od sierpnia. Zaczęło się od kwietnego heksagramu na uspokojenie nerwów w czasie rekrutacji na studia... I rozwinęło się w pełnoprawny battle jacket*, z naszywkami i w ogóle.
Moment na samochwalstwo: hex i prawie wszystkie naszywki (wyjątki: The Cure, iamthemorning, róże) haftowałam sama.
Naszywek z przodu będzie więcej, chciałabym dodać jeszcze z pięć zespołów co najmniej. Ale najpierw muszę je wyhaftować, a w najgorszym razie kupić ;) Plecy za to zostaną takie, jakie są. Chyba że BMTH** spadnie z mojego topu <odpukać w niemalowane> i będę chciała czymś tę miłość zamaskować. Ale na ten moment cóż, fangirluję ostro.
Cóż mogę więcej rzec, tak mniej więcej wygląda mój muzyczny gust na rok 2023 :)
Kurtka lub kamizelka, na której się naszywa rzeczy. Wymyślili to amerykańscy lotnicy, potem podłapali to motocykliści, potem subkultury punkowe i metalowe, aż wreszcie koncept został skomodyfikowany w ramach "mody ulicznej". Trochę dlatego tak się chwalę, że to rękodzieło – nie że gotowce nie są fajne, ale ta konkretna rzecz jest bardzo... moja. I wyszła dużo taniej :D
**Jak ktoś chce się śmiać, to niech przynajmniej zrobi to w formie offline. Ja doskonale wiem, co np. "tru metalowcy" sądzą o tym zespole, wystarczy, że zajrzę w sekcje komentarzy Mystic Festival ;)

@sub_ Yep, I'm using #Exult. I find it easier than regular #DOSBox. I used the files installed by GOG for Exult Linux. And true, I like the QoL features they added!
In all my years of #cycling, I've never found a great solution for cold weather. If I bundle up so I'm not chilled, then I soak everything with sweat in short order. If I wear less, then I freeze. I've tried Merino wool, synthetics (Gore, Event, etc.), and so on, but nothing works well enough for me.
Sadly, that means I don't do anything exciting on the #bicycle during the coldest part of the year. Just my daily local loop. :blobfoxsad:

@tk@biketooter@cycling@mastobikes i warm the absolute hell out of my hands and feet before going out but for bicycling especially it’s been awhile. Want access to a mountain bike with nice wide tyres for actual snow.
If I were to get a titanium #bicycle, I'd definitely spec a compliant steel fork. I feel like steel folks get a bad rap because consumer grade production ones are overbuilt, especially ones with disc brakes! #cycling
I have an aluminum frame track bike with a carbon fork that I am considering switching to a steel fork. I guess the ride a little whippier but the front wheel is the place you want rigid control over what is moving where...
I literally just opened Geometry Dash and was met with a terms of service pop up.

And then I see the Tower and realize that 2.2 just released.
Glad to finally see it here. Played through Dash (which is really easy for an insane imo, beat it much more quickly than usual), and it was mostly great! Only issue is that I REALLY don't like the swing copter. It's not fun to use at all.

Can't say I'm great at it either. Honestly, platformer game type is a weird concept for Geometry dash, but I don't mind it. The way different game modes are incorporated into it is really fun though
