I have a PC that comes with a 300w charger. I can charge off a 100w GaN charger so long as my power profile is on battery saver. I’d expect the same for OP.
Amazed no one has mentioned Antimatter Dimensions. It’s now on Steam, but was originally on a few sites (I played it on Kongregate). Fantastic, and now with the latest update and the ‘aero’ skin and hidden games, it’s multiple games (Including the original Paperclips) inside one :D
Between Diablo sessions, I've been replaying Metro: Last Light (the original, not redux), and man, I am having a blast. I absolutely love that game. Out of the three Metro games, it's probably my favorite. Even choosing to be stealthy is a lot of fun. I've been playing with a silent revolver/Kalash/Ashot combo, and I can't wait to get my/Artyom's hands on the Kalash 2012.
Check out neebs gaming on YouTube. Excellent and very funny. I also highly recommend their subnautica series, not to give too much away but it follows a different script than the story in the game. It is amazing, and the quality of their videos is top tier.
I agree. Both aren’t perfect but the gaming industry is far worse (and so is software development in general) with abuse and lack of mental health resources.
Can I just say, that I loaded up Starfield tonight and the NPCs are the worst I’ve ever seen in 30 years of PC gaming. Their bug eyes and lack of reaction or response to anything is so far beyond uncanny Valley that I actually am impressed at how terrible it is. This is the worst game I’ve seen released in a very very long time.
If you don’t mind a group of friends playing multiplayer, there is Stumpt. Depending on the game they’re playing, you either get some commentary about the game or in the case of videos like their Game of Life 2 videos, they kinda just talk about whatever because they’ve played it so much.
If you’re into pro wrestling, there’s the Newlegacyinc boys, they do playthroughs and streams of wrestling (and wrestling adjacent) games. I’m not even really into wrestling and I still find them very entertaining, their streams of MDickie wrestling games are top tier.
Quake that people actually play. Like look at the virality of Battle bits Remastered, the Battlefield with block characters so you can have like 200 people in the match. Games need to feel snappy and run on a lot of low tech machines, and developers are mostly never catering to that budget demographic. FPS games have a huge demand for this. The hundreds of thousands of nerds who can infodump about how incredible the Source engine feels is my proof. So yeah I think there is still a market for competitive movement game 2.0 - a team fortress 3, a titanfall 3, a quake / unreal tournament that runs well and allows community mapping. Like unironically last gens engines followed the wrong upgrade paths and there is still more performance to squeeze out (titanfall 2 using highly customized source and it looking like a AAA game rather than a source game as my proof)
