obywatelle, do zapytajszmer w W których ogólnopolskich mediach lewa strona polityki jest najbardziej eksponowana?
@obywatelle@szmer.info avatar

obywatelle,
@obywatelle@szmer.info avatar

obywatelle,
@obywatelle@szmer.info avatar

Janusze i Grażyny praktycznie nie mają na to szans. Ale gdyby Lewica dbała o to, by robić wokół siebie populistyczny hałas, który dobrze “się klika” to nawet media musiałyby jej dać trochę czasu antenowego. Nawet w charakterze kuriozum, ale czasem lepszy taki rozgłos niż żaden. Wiadomo przecież nie od dzisiaj że nigdy żaden duży koncern medialny nie będzie działał na rzecz jakiejkolwiek lewicy.

Discounting Steam because otherwise I’d be here typing for an hour listing all the cheap games I enjoyed from there.

Lufia 2 for the SNES, which was great because it was a prequel to Lufia 1, though it took me a couple years to finally track down a copy in the pre-internet days. I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was a prequel, and there are actually massive spoilers for the 2nd game in the intro for the 1st one, so I unintentionally played them in the right order!

For anything that requires speed and precision: Mouse and Keyboard.

Everything else I can go either way.

    I’m not trying to be Mr Snappy but I think I paid a dollar for it too, and I feel I overpaid by about 99.9 cents

    Edit: I can see why other people like it, but I found it to be utterly monotonous and just shallow, wanton destruction which didn’t appeal to me

    Edit 2: I should be fair to the game, it was technically very well done (ignoring modern crash problems), the destruction was pretty cool, I thought the graphics were neat, and it offered was a variety of things that many people would enjoy. For my taste there not a enough world design, too much copy/paste, and the story/missions were perfunctory. For me, it had many good ingredients, but it didn’t make a stew. It comes down to personal taste.

    I spend all day at work with a keyboard and mouse, so I try to use a controller for absolutely everything else

    Thelsim, do gaming w Do you prefer playing with Keyboard or controller more, and for what type of games?

    It really depends on where I play. Behind the PC it’s definitely mouse and keyboard, it just doesn’t feel comfortable to play with a controller while sitting in my office chair.
    Everything else is controller, but it’s not like you have much choice in those situations :)

    That’s cool, interesting to see how many of my connections are new.

    I’ve always been a big fan of visuwords.com, which have a similar visualization, but with structured connections based on grammar.

    Damaskox,
    @Damaskox@lemmy.world avatar

    Yeah this link of yours focuses on a bit different thing.

    It generates a bigger picture of many words connected to one single word entered, and the other words are more or less synonyms. I believe you also don’t add new stuff to it?

    (Just want to point out) In the Human Brain Cloud, synonyms ain’t the only thing that might connect two different words or concepts with each other. The link between words depends on the person who interacts with the words. There can be many different bridges what we have between different concepts that create an association with a word that the Human Brain Cloud gives (feelings, memories, knowledge of many different topics…)

    Z4rK,

    Yeah visuwords is more like a visualized view of the grammar and synonyms for a word in a dictionary and does not allow any new input.

    Brain Cloud is instead an unstructured approach that lets you build new connections between words and contexts and to provide new knowledge. I like it.

    Could be fun with some additional input where you could for example provide a thumbs up / down if you feel the association is positive or negative.

    Damaskox,
    @Damaskox@lemmy.world avatar

    Would these negative associations be hidden or deleted?

    And what if someone didn’t feel that something that was flagged as negative was negative?

    I’ve been really enjoying the new expansion for Cyberpunk 2077. I personally loved the game when it came out, specifically for the tone and environment and the main story. I did stop playing pretty quickly though because the progression didn’t click for me and different parts felt too shallow.

    I really think the 2.0 update fixed a lot of game mechanics I didn’t like the first time through, and the expansion has a great tight storyline I’ve really enjoyed sinking my teeth into. I’m going back and doing all of the side quests I didn’t get to before I stopped playing too. And so excited to see what the alternate ending they cooked up is. If you had fun with the game, definitely consider picking it back up!

    liminis,

    Same deal, and definitely. Before 2.0 I thought Cyberpunk did some really cool stuff with narrative and inter-quest structures, but now the core of the game is a ton of fun all by itself. (The little Edgerunners references in the perk trees are a nice touch, too!)

    And god do I love being free of the tedious incentives to check/compare all your attire and weapons for the best stats; standardisation here is a blessing.
