FES wasn't a remake, just additional content re released. I would much rather it was included in this new version of the game, but bringing 3 "up to scratch" with where 5 put the series would require a huge revamping of the game, so I can accept FES being additional content later. I'd rather DLC than a new version of the game, though.
I’m talking about a future FES Remake. I’d rather if it was DLC too, but if Persona 5 Royal wasn’t, then I’m not counting on it.
Adapting straight to FES would have taken just a little more effort than the overall remake did, so I’m distrustful of why they have done it like this.
Ahh, your wording of "re releasing the remake" confused me.
I feel the only reason Atlus is doing it this way is because they can squeeze more money out and that they've set the precedent since Persona 3, so the worst people can say is "they've been doing it this way since the PS2"
Why did they not update the lighting? I feel like that’s a huge miss. I personally also don’t like the new art style on the cut scenes, the pixel art was beautiful
I’ve been playing Diablo 4 recently and am missing the helll out of all the options path of exile gives players to work on their gear. I have enjoyed what I’ve seen on poe2, and look forward to playing it eventually.
I finally got PoE’d out a few leagues ago, after playing for 8 years or so. But after watching this trailer I think I miiiight have to get back into it again 😄. Looks awesome!
Definitely give Ruthless a go, I love it… reminds me of early game ARPG’s on higher difficulties. Positioning really matters, you have to adapt based on what you get. It seems to have been the proving ground for PoE2’s new tempo.
Jacob Geller is one of the best video-essayists on YouTube. The thoughtfulness with which he approaches games as pieces of art is rare, the sleek, striking way he presents his theses is rarer still. There are youtubers that I find more entertaining (HBomberguy, Folding Ideas) but no one that I find more engaging.
“Who’s Afraid of Modern Art: Vandalism, Video Games, and Fascism” in particular had a profound impact on me (also loved the one about Golems). Being able to watch the better version of his videos (without the butchering to avoid YouTube’s copyright strikes) is like 80% of the reason why I got a Nebula subscription.
I was just thinking “Hey, this kind of looks like Dark Messiah.” And then he kicked an enemy off of a ledge and I thought “Oh it’s 100% a sequel to Dark Messiah.”
