Man, you put a lot of effort into these every day. I reckon I’d click in more if you put some of the interesting content in the titles. IMO move your title bit to the body. Keep up the good work :)
to be honest I’ve been struggling the past few days to figure out what to play because I have parts for my first Gaming Rig on the way. So I want to save all the “good” stuff for that lol. I was honestly a bit worried my screenshots these past few days have been lacking.
I’ve considered moving the title to the post, but some people have said they like guessing the games and I’d like to avoid spoiling it for them, otherwise I would start doing unique titles. I think if I ever end up stopping though, I’ll probably start doing unique titles for when I occasionally pop in and share an isolated post
Thank you! I’m a bit nervous despite checking all my work to make sure everything fits and i got everything i need. Sadly, I just got notified some of the parts won’t be here until early February though so my Steam Deck gets to suffer through half a month of being forced to push 1080p-4K resolutions
Neck tie, but I’d love to see it comically long or at least more proportional and realistically sized. Right now it just doesn’t take up enough space, in my opinion.
That being said, if we’re “stuck” with these two options exactly as they are, the bow tie works better because it’s a more fitting size and better proportions. For me, it makes the design a little unbalanced with too much going on above the neck, too little going on below. Coincidentally, if you made it comically small, that might actually work out better, but I’d have to see it before I could be certain. However, that’s a fairly minor drawback.
The necktie needs a line of horizontal stitching along the chest as it puts a lot of vertical focus on the duck. The bowtie balances out the vertical stitching with its horizontal orientation.
Also/alternatively a vertical seam up the neckline might help with the neck being noisy with the stitch and tie.
You could make it a selection for the player, they choose one then the other is destroyed in a comically horrific manner. The narrator could berate the player for so callously destroying the unchosen duck who clearly has a deep and tragic back story and has long lost relatives who will sorely miss them. The duck you choose may turn out evil or maybe somehow the worst, just an awful duck who you should not have saved. The Duck Linked Content could be an included DLC.
A shame; the way they make their open worlds with lots of little things to collect and do are oddly pleasant to play for that. Definitely something only I really enjoy, I realize, of course.
Agreed. One reason I loved Majora’s Mask was that the game was dense. Every square inch of the game was used for something and in a lot of different ways. I also appreciated a checklist for my collectables so I could pinpoint what I was missing, but that’s rather off topic. I lean way away from open world games now both for excessive time commitment and most of it is just empty space.
Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla scratched an itch that few other open world action RPGs have been able to for me (of course, they were copying Witcher III, which did it far better). Despite everyone saying all their games are the same, I haven’t enjoyed any of their other ones like I did those three (oh, except for Watch Dogs 2). If Shadows is the same thing again but in Japan, I’ll be satisfied.
