I can see every single example taking that much time, but Skyrim? Is there really 3000h+ worth of content in that game that doesn’t get boring after first time you do it?
I feel like you need to be introduced to mods. There are…a lot. Even if you keep it to just relatively high quality ones that add content (rather than mechanical overhauls or graphical overhauls), there are still a lot.
I’d suggest Falskaar, Wyrmstooth, The Hanging Gardens, The Maelstrom and vicn’s mods (Vigilant, Glenmoril and Unslaad) as a starting point.
Actually, that’s not true, I’d recommend Legacy of the Dragonborn as a starting point, then grab mods that require it and mods that require those until you have all the content mods that can have displays in the museum (which includes all the ones I mentioned before, but is not limited to them).
Y’all haven’t experienced pain until you come across dogs in The Last of Us 2. The sounds the dogs make if you don’t kill them with a headshot are the worst part of the game and I’m not exaggerating. And then it’s owner will start wailing over its body. If you kill the human, the dog will start whimpering over its owners body. I played the pacifist on those levels cuz it was that bad.
Me too, but I’m not too impressed. I mean it looks great and all, but the gameplay is a bit monotonous. Maybe it caters more to fans who actually care about the story and characters.
So I’m throwing some Deep Rock Galactic missions into the mix. I’ve met a player in their first ever mission and tagged along to help out a bit and now we’re playing a lot together and it’s great fun.
This tickled a half-forgotten memory. I was into a few "ASCII" "game engines" when I was a kid, ZZT and MZX. There was definitely a Hitchhiker's game on one of those. Doubt it was official, of course.
Same, for me it’s a “what if there’s a nifty gameplay tips or worldbuilding lore that I might miss which would make me unable to fully appreciate the game if I skip the tutorial?” kind of thing.
I’m playing coop online with my friend now. (Just started, since he’s on Xbox only.)
Since we only play like 4 hours/week, and about half the time our gaming “appointment” gets cancelled because of adult responsibilities, I think it’ll take us a good year to get to the end lol
I have a bunch of these stupid-ass components in my machine, but my case takes care of that bullshit. It is a monolithic black slab with special baffles to prevent light from getting out. It does not even have a fucking power LED. I love it so much.
The world of Warcraft Legion expansion had a pretty neat rogue hideout. Flash your members coin to a shop owner and he opened the hidden passageway to our subterranean lair. Luckily when khadgar ripped up the entire city and teleported it to a new floating home in the sky he brought the basement too.
