dlpkl,

Goes to show what a few good IPs and an all-star legal team can do for you lol

dlpkl,

Take two steps to the side and you’re safe

dlpkl,

If you’re looking for something a lil more chill, Tchia is a BoTW-esque game that’s everything you like aside from FPS.

Also, if you want to play something older, check out Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. They are AAA, but they were made back when Bethesda actually had soul and vision.

dlpkl,

Far Cry 3 is still one of my favorite games of all time

dlpkl,

You mean New Vegas right? Cuz 3 was definitely made by Bethesda

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut PC cross-play and system requirements revealed (blog.playstation.com) angielski

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is the first PlayStation title on PC that uses a new PlayStation overlay, which includes your Friends list, Trophies, Settings, and your Profile. This feature is available on Windows PCs and will be accessible from the in-game menu or, for keyboard players, by pressing the “SHIFT +F1”...

dlpkl,

If you read the article you’d know that it’s for cross platform progress of trophies and it also includes your PlayStation friends. Neither of which Steam does

dlpkl,

PlayStation trophies and PlayStation friends.

dlpkl,

It’ll be able to know when your draft-dodging ass is home, so it can send some nice FSB gentlemen to come give you a lift.

dlpkl,

I’ll just keep playing Helldivers 2 pretending I’m a Clone Commando, thanks.

dlpkl,

Can’t wait for BG&E 2!..

dlpkl,

This is why Star Wars Force Unleashed will always be one of my favourite Star Wars works ever. They went absolutely nuts with it and said fuck the lore. Brilliant game.

dlpkl,

So are ages of games like Warzone counted from the release of their first version, or is each iteration a new game?

dlpkl,

I would have been hyped for this before the time of predatory microtransactions. Now I’m just bummed to see how shit it’ll be

dlpkl,

Does anyone remember the PlayStation TV where you could have split screen and the active 3d glasses would only show you your own screen? That was so dope, I miss the golden age of gaming.

dlpkl,

Eh. You can ride a lot more machines this time and the biomes are much more diverse. Other than that, it kinda lost its mystique when the plot twist was revealed at the end of the first game, the second game feels like it could (should) have been the final chapter in the first game. Still, graphics and art style are amazing and honestly worth playing just for that alone.

dlpkl,

I remember back in the day copying my PS3 save file for fallout 3 and then running it through a hex editor so that I could pick up where I leftoff on PC lol

dlpkl,

Are Journey and Outer Wilds considered indie games?

dlpkl,

Oh good shout, I remember being intrigued by The Pathless when it came out but never got around to trying it!

dlpkl,

Yeah I was let down by Abzu. It was beautiful but didn’t have substance. You speak very highly of The Pathless, I’m excited to try it out. Thanks for the rec!

dlpkl,

I can’t name a first party PlayStation studio that misses. They’re just so consistently great it blows my mind.

A coop PvE game for two dads and three sons?
A shooter, preferably. Any recommendations, guys? The youngest lad is 10, so as little violence as possible. Thanks 😉

@gaming

dlpkl,

Helldivers 2. It’s not violence when it’s justice, citizen.

dlpkl,

LA Noire meet Cyberpunk meets Blade Runner meets Love Death & Robots: Pop Squad. I’m in.

dlpkl,

I have a PS5 physical so I buy all my single player games second hand and then sell them for basically the same price. The only digital games I’ve bought have been Elden Ring, Helldivers, and Spiderman Miles Morales.

dlpkl,

Anywhere on body: 110mm rocket pods*, railcannon strike, orbital laser, orbital precision strike*, 2 x EAT, Arc Thrower (20+ to body), flamethrower, Spear, might be others

Headshots: Arc Thrower seems to kill a charger in about 10-12 shots if you can land it on their face. The lightning is somewhat more accurate and reliable at medium ranges, so get some distance.

Front leg and then shoot exposed flesh: EAT, Recoilless Rifle, Railgun on Unsafe mode (4 shots to break),

When paused after a charge**: autocannon to backside of front leg, laser cannon to backside of front leg, impact grenade to backside of front leg, probably many others

*These stratagems seem to be sticky for some reason and I’ve had good success attaching them to the chargers as they pass or after they’ve stopped.

**Some people seem to think that this strategy takes advantage of a hitbox bug where the charger’s armor is temporarily reduced after their charge attack.

Looking for emotional game recommendations angielski

My favorite games are Omori, Disco Elysium and Outer Wilds. I cried for hours at the end of those games, and I think the common point in them is high-quality emotional writing and stellar OST (music really affect me) and my attachment to the characters....

dlpkl,

The Last of Us 1 has been the only game to ever make me emotional. It’s still the gold standard for what a video game is capable of in terms of narrative. The sequel was jarring, but not heart wrenching in the same way the first was.

dlpkl,

Played today. The buffs are not nearly enough.

dlpkl,

Easy solution, just be the host

dlpkl,

Depends, what did you think about the base game? For myself, I wouldn’t play it even if it was free. I platinumed Elden Ring and by the end of it, I was so fatigued from the FromSoft formula that the next and last game I’ll play from them will be the Bloodborne remake.

I bought Helldivers 2 for less than the ER DLC. And I’m having way more fun.

dlpkl,

You can find supercredits on missions. I’ve unlocked the premium battlepass and bought some armor without spending a dime of real money.

dlpkl,

Ah I get you. Just so you know, the battlepasses are more like level unlocks than typical battlepasses, but you probably know that. Also, old battlepasses that you didn’t finish or even start will stay in the game permanently, so don’t feel like there’s a rush to finish them.

dlpkl,

unless progression allows you to unlock items that are real world currency based on which I could see why they’d want to stop people from accessing it without one of their two methods

This is the reason I believe. There’s a premium season pass that has some later game unlocks which they probably want to incentivize. That, and there’s a meta-game that depends on the community making concerted efforts to progress the story. I’m assuming that they don’t want a modder to unbalance that.

dlpkl,

Give us a Black Flag remake you cowards.

Better yet, if someone just makes a Nvidia RTXRemixflexremasterDLSSqwertyuiop mod for the damn game we could drop Ubisoft altogether.

dlpkl,

They just had to remake Black Flag for next gen and PC with all the bells and whistles, and they would have sold fuckloads.

dlpkl,

Y’all haven’t experienced pain until you come across dogs in The Last of Us 2. The sounds the dogs make if you don’t kill them with a headshot are the worst part of the game and I’m not exaggerating. And then it’s owner will start wailing over its body. If you kill the human, the dog will start whimpering over its owners body. I played the pacifist on those levels cuz it was that bad.

dlpkl,

Top down, RTS, and point and click games. That includes XCOM, Baldur’s Gate, Pillars of Eternity, etc. They just seem to be lacking immersion, I’d much rather play a 3rd person action game or an FPS

dlpkl, (edited )

Also this, but because it’s got the quality of an Indie game. Before people jump down my throat, compare the animations, sound effects, graphical fidelity, and voice acting to any other AAA game. Even the combat, which people usually extoll as the best thing about them, is just dodge->attack over and over again. Don’t even get me started on the pathetic “storytelling” in those games.

Edit: y’all mad huh

dlpkl,

Since you seem to know what’s going on, is FF7 Rebirth a full package? Ie does it include Part 1, the DLC, and the new Part 2 all in one game, or would someone have to purchase those separately?

dlpkl,

Ah I see, thanks!

dlpkl,

Dope. I can’t wait to have meaningful generative content in a game I play. Will it be perfect? Nah probably not for another 10 years to be honest. But it’s a start. It’ll be nice to not have to rely on a greedy publisher to make a sequel to a beloved game series especially when they’re taking in billions a year from microtransactions. Bring on the human-serving AI

dlpkl,

When Starfield wins most innovative, that’s when you can disregard the rest.

dlpkl,

A lot of people did lol. Factions from TLOU was an amazing multiplayer mode. That, combined with the presumed quality of a potential MMO type game from them garnered a lot of hype. Just because you didn’t ask for it or don’t understand the anticipation doesn’t mean there wasn’t any.

dlpkl,

If they make it like the TD1 e3 trailer made it out to be, I’d get it

Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name Hits Xbox Game Pass Day One (www.gameinformer.com) angielski

Ahead of Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, which we just learned will be released in January, Ryu Ga Gotoku (RGG) Studio will release Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. Announced in September, The Man Who Erased His Name stars longtime Yakuza series protagonist Kazuma Kiryu and focuses on his life after Yakuza 6:...

dlpkl,

I can’t keep up with Yakuza game titles anymore

dlpkl,

Very unfortunate that it doesn’t have seamless surface to space travel. It’s 2023 Bethesda!

dlpkl,

What a time to be alive when NMS is the standard that a Bethesda game is being held up to. Hello Games have made the comeback of the century I guess.

dlpkl,

Damn, I guess we’ve been spoiled by No Man’s Sky. I was expecting it to be a completely open, manual traversal universe.

dlpkl,

So no boarding, no diving, no hunting, no on foot combat or exploration. Wtf have they been doing all this time lol
