Kekw is deeper internet slang than most people are willing to discover. Kek is like a giggle or snort, not a full laugh but a chuckle. The w modifier means this is a win for them, so kekw is a chuckle about a good situation. If you want more info you can ask someone on 4chan, they are super helpful and nice to new members of the community.
I'm not sure how I feel about this one, because I think that a large part of my enjoyment of the first one was unraveling the mystery of what had happened to the world, and that's all but gone now. We'll see I guess.
hhhhmmmmm I don't know, I'm not sure I'm interested in discovering more details
I was interested in the general what, not so much on the specific who's or how's, if that makes sense
But I won't fully knock it until I try it
Its sorta comparable, but Saint’s Row was a finished single player game that could maybe be updated one day otherwise, while E:D is a game that will be lacking several months (years?) of content, being an online game that is in constant development
Still looks like an air purifier / conditioner unfortunately.
I was holding off with upgrading my PS4 Pro with SSD but when I saw new PS5 leaks I went with XSX. Sorry, that thing has no place in an adult living room lol.
Yeah, why they have to make it so curvy in the first place? And then they have to add a stupid extra base just to get it to not roll around. Too many designers in the kitchen IMHO.
I’ll take the bait. I consider both consoles evenly matched but from the perspective of Sony diehard it’s quite attractive value proposition:
I don’t care about first party exclusives because I’ve played enough Naughty Dog games by now. Third party ones will come eventually as always.
I didn’t own any Xbox consoles up until now so it’s a treasure trove thanks to backwards compatibility. Especially when plenty of X360 games run 4k60.
Game Pass is cool although new Microsoft games seem to be released in quite barebone state.
The console itself can be quite cheap where I live, got an XSX bundle with Diablo 4 for ~$450. Game Pass Ultimate with Live Gold tricks is like ~$70 for 2 years. If you want to get really cheap, region change to Turkey, buy rechargeable Visa and enjoy everything being -50% off all the time.
So it's aimed at people that already own a console attached to their TV, but want to play it as a handheld, and can't take it out of the house to keep playing?
But I thought the Wii U sold poorly. Why would they make another one?
The port for part one is in pretty good shape now, just played through it a few weeks ago. I’m playing part two now on pc and it’s mostly been fine but still has some kinks to be worked out (a few crashes, some occasional visual issues). Performance is also a bit rough for part 2 where it seemed fine on my system for part 1.
I was very pissed there was no disk drive, but at least you can get it as an add-on like the Slim version (ended up reading at their blog post, don’t understand how they didn’t mention it during the stream). The 2TB SSD makes it very tempting since we have the digital version and we were looking to get a disk one.
They didn’t mention it, because they want most buyers to use their subscription service and only purchase digital games, which have larger margins, no second-hand market, don’t drop in price as quickly and as often, can be delisted and removed, etc.
I’ve seen disk PS5 go on sale as low as $400USD at big box retailers, presumably to make shelf space for the pros. The used marketplace is there as well.
Wow, thanks for sharing! I can’t believe I missed this one. It’s right up my ally and looks refreshing. I love jrpg’s, but they can get stale after a while. Can’t wait to see what a team new to this genre can bring to the table. Story sounds super unique.
