@PerfectDark I only recently cames across with project and it looks amazing - like a Jellyfin for games. I only wish there was plugin support for Retroarch/Lutris or something similar rather than needing to rely on EmulatorJS.
I love the work you've done sitting down with the team and it's definitely convinced me to put this one down as the next of my ever growing number of services going onto my homelab cluster.
As an aside, I also wanted to thank you for your writing in general. I used to do a lot of writing (heck, I did three quarters of a journalism degree a lifetime ago), and the effort and quality you put into this stuff has definitely started that itch in me again...

Please do!!!
I’d love to read more from ‘our’ circle of people. I find there’s…not enough, which is (in part, anyway) why I like to try my best at sharing this kind of thing. Especially in an atmosphere where short videos are consumed like crazy, where A.I. can slap together (poorly) someone’s writing, and where the big sites are just click-bait or begging for subscriptions and support.
IDK, I’d love to read whatever you’d be writing!
And thank you so much for writing this, I’m gonna link the RomM team to a new convert :P

We integrate for now with playnite (lutris for windows) and any handheld that can run muOS or Portmaster, but Lutris integration is on the list! Sadly, retroarch doesn’t have a plugin system, so for now that’s discarded
I still like warframe, even though it has a few headaches in there that make it more annoying than it needs to be. I don’t want to trade my ducat fodder or passive rep for slots and potatoes every time a new update comes out. But I do like dressing up my space dolls and blasting my trumna for hours on end
One you learn that you just have to stay a certain distance rather than trying to race it. It’s fine. You just find that sweet spot where smoke is constantly shooting and you’re good
I was stuck on the crazy missile tank dude in Armored Core 6 when I got to him because apparently he was fucked up and more OP than intended. Played through a few months ago and absolutely demolished the game 100%; though I credit it more to finding out that you can unlock a machine gun through the training sessions I never did. That thing just wrecks every dude in the game if you keep moving 🤣
Company Heroes 2 in Hard difficulty. The AI in RTS single player games tend to simply swarm you. I have to tone down the difficulty but there is little sense of satisfaction in playing easier modes.
I only know about it because Ssethtzeentach made a video about it. Dude is the king of finding random games you’ve never heard of that are totally awesome. Kenshi, too.
I like seeing the up-n-coming consoles, and emulation becoming easier again :D Loved the Steam Delivery Girl mascot, she was very cool, and seeing what she would look like IRL is very interesting.
Timesplitters 2 and 3 for some older stuff. They’re spiritual successors to Goldeneye (made by mostly the same people) and they both feature fun coop campaigns. Shouldn’t be too difficult to emulate.
It’s me on Half Life Alyx with the blind dude who has you cornered. I legit was looking to insert a saved game to bypass this level and it seems I’m not alone with others sharing that specific save game.
