It’s a private tracker. They want proof that you’re a good standing member of some other private tracker. So they’d want to see that you seed and have a good ratio.
They have an IRC chat. If you had skill cracking apps or something they might let you in that way.
Ultimate Chicken Horse might be one of the top party games for getting a laugh for me. It’s always fun to see someone hyperfocused to make a jump, only to get hit by an arrow, followed by a wrecking ball hitting them into a sawblade.
Not single player/story funny, but I don’t think I’ve absolutely lost it to any game (possibly even any thing) more than Gang Beasts. Get 8 friends together for a rumble and cry laughs will be had.
One time back when we were living in an apartment with an inward courtyard facing window, my wife and I were laughing so hard a neighbour threw something at our window to get our attention so they could shout at us to keep it down. It was only 10pm on a Saturday :/
For me personally i find that i play pirated games more lften than the ones i bought, i hate having to use the launchers it is a complete pain in the ass, they all require updates everytime i open them, they’re very sluggish and often try to shove ads and offers down your throat (with exception of steam). I own the dishonored series legitimately but i still play the pirated version.
One of my favorite games is Titanfall 2 and i don’t play it anymore so that i don’t have to put up with the cancer of the EA app
I personally never pirate games. I don’t like dealing with the cracks and the bugs that often come with it. I don’t play more than a few games a year though so the cost isn’t too high. Pirating mostly involves movies and T.V. for me.
I used to avoid it too, but I was less worried about the bugs and more about possible viruses. When I realised there was a crack scene with certain uploaders that are trusted by the community I lost a lot of that worry.
I appreciate that you’re doing this on a budget. The only thing I can say is that a monitor doesn’t represent a significant portion of the build budget. A basic monitor can be had for under $100. Honestly a lot of tech-oriented people have extras laying around. I’ve had 3 extra 1080p monitors in my garage for the last few years. It’s entirely possible that someone may be giving one away near you.
I’ve done it with an old cheap tv and it sucked and i got ghosting and choppy refresh rate. I’m sure if you get a decent modern tv would be fine though. I’d also want to check latency.
I’m a pretty big user of abbreviations, and usually I understand them. But some times my mind just gets locked and I can’t decipher the abbreviations, and I begin to wonder if we’re using too much of them.
