Armored Core 6.

I was going to play Wrath of the Righteous finally but then my sister gets me this randomly and I can’t put it down.

Also still playing Armored Core 6. I am really enjoying the game, and even spent a couple hours last night trying 3v3 PvP and had a lot of fun with that. Part of me wishes they did a proper support for PvP with queueing and some sort of map rotation, or that someone basically makes Armored Core 6 PvP as a separate game but functionally the same, because it honestly is a lot of fun.

(finally) Finished Midnight Suns. About 80h towards it and while I did enjoy it immensely, I’m glad it’s over and time to move on to other things.

I started and finished the first Frog Detective game last night. I figured it would be short but not 1.5h short! Quirky and it got a couple of legit laughs out of me. I’m definitely interested in playing the other two episodes.

And I decided to play Overwatch 2 now that it’s on Steam. I stopped playing OW1 years ago and this seemed a good excuse to try it again. I am starting from the ground up since I apparently deleted my old Battle.net account, which is frustrating to not have all the heroes/skins available but it’s also easing me back in. The monetization at least seems to be an improvement over loot boxes. I’m really just playing with whatever I’ve managed to unlock and not paying for the BP until I know how far a super casual player like myself can get. The core game is luckily still solid and since I don’t have the bad blood of the scrapped PvE mode or anything, I’m just enjoying playing more Overwatch again.

nd20,

Midnight Suns is great, I was super addicted to playing that for a couple weeks. Put it down when I got stuck repeatedly losing a certain randomized mission and haven’t resumed yet. Shout-out to dread maidens punishing my bad squad selection. Maybe I should go back now…

Yep. I hit a wall with a couple of the final battles in the DLC missions (Morbius and Storm) that I finally ratcheted down my difficulty level back to “normal” just to get through and not sour my experience with the game.

It did mean I annihilated the final boss of the campaign but I didn’t mind. It was still fun :)

I was playing BG3 but I hopped back onto Tarkov now since the recent wipe. I’ve been doing mostly night time raids and they’ve been very fruitful. Rats rule.

Had a really good run, probably the best since I was a kid. Elden Ring into Hifi rush into RE4 remake, Tears of the Kingdom and the Rift Apart.

Probably never gonna match this again for the next decade, but not sure what to play next

Currently jailbreak is possible if you have firmware 9.0.0 and below, to my understanding. You can look up videos, but most people recommend text guides as they are easier to update and keep current. For PS4 it matters less since nothing has changed since the current jailbreak released.

Killer Instinct, arcade and SNES Killer Instinct 2 (arcade) which was kind of ported as Killer Instinct Gold (N64)

Those are my top tier without a doubt.

Bloody Roar : Primal Fury was absolutely excellent as well.

I played inside. The story was interesting but the gameplay was so tedious compared to limbo that I almost quit. I did quit years ago. I had 45 minutes on the game when I started and restarted. It honestly was a bit of a grind. The ending gameplay felt liberating though.

Also I been playing uncharted 4: the lost legacy which has been kind of interesting. I feel like it’s an attempt on the tomb raider puzzles which ends up being far better than trying raider itself. I also really love the grounded story that’s teaching history and culture.

I also have downloaded ctrl alt ego and gloomwood.

acastcandream,

Those underwater scenes in Inside created a sense of awe and dread I haven’t felt in years tbh

MJBrune,

They felt open but I went exploring and kept hitting walls so my playstyle kind of ruined that feeling.

Still playing Dysmantle, which I originally started intending it to be my background game that I’d turn on when I had only a short window to play or got bored or frustrated with my “main” game.

~40 hours later I think I’m nearing the end and dreading it because I don’t want to not have Dysmantle in my life. Ever since a played Subnautica a few years back, I’ve been looking for another game that scratches the same survival/crafting itch but with the critical components of an overall objective and calculated progression. Dysmantle is different in almost every way but it does hit those check boxes perfectly.

The gameplay loop is repetitive, but amusing enough on its own to be fun until your next upgrade, which are granted to you at just the right pace and open up new abilities to better dismantle your surroundings.

I think it’s flaws will probably hit harder for some people, but for me it strikes exactly the right chord. Luckily I still have the DLCs, and they have a spiritual sequel coming out next year that looks even more promising.
