Reminds me of the time I got banned from Xbox live communication for like 24 hours for writing a boss name in a looking for group post, thanks M$

Spoilers? Man I finished the game and I still have no idea what’s going on

Tabletop in person. I miss it. Secondly, in-person co-op. These are two mediums are being extinguished because of how difficult it is to profit from humans relating to one another in person and giving each other things for free.

Mouse and keyboard are my bread and butter, I don’t particularly enjoy gamepads, but the Steam Deck gets around this thanks to having touchpads and gyro, so I don’t mind using it when nothing else is available.

I’m about 40 hours into Trails To Azure and it’s been a blast going through The Legend Of Heroes and the Trails series in order.

My favorite console has got to be the original Xbox. I would play it all day when I was younger and to this day I still use it because emulation is iffy for a lot of titles. Games from that era from like 1999 to 2006 hit home for me and I love replaying the greats like Knights of the Old Republic, Halo 2, and 007 Nightfire.

For everything else I do a lot of steam gaming and emulating on my linux pc, steam deck, and mobile. I use mobile for casual, quick, or pauseable games, steam deck for games that “feel” right like racing games and old adventure games, and pc for longer gaming sessions, or mouse and keyboard games like Starcraft and Age of Empires.

It’s hard to beat pc because it can litterally do everything better (except maybe portability) and you can customize it into anything, so it’s definitely the objective winner, but og Xbox is still my biased favorite.

PC. Most often mouse or keyboard and mouse. Sometimes gamepad, then maybe streaming to my TV and sofa. I have a SteamDeck, but it’s not getting much use. Like my Vive.

No, its a game about fucking up the one thing the first thing did right by adding a stamina meter, and then ruining it by cutting out half the story.

Renacles,

The first game had a stamina meter as well, it went away when you maxed your parkour skills.

KingThrillgore,
@KingThrillgore@lemmy.ml avatar

I don’t recall parkour using stamina.

Zahille7,

It did. But it was slightly more forgiving

Matchbox 20 is just like Matchbox 19, 18, etc… Just glorified roster updates.

It sucks having to either play it on day one or stay away from social media in order to avoid spoilers

HubertManne,

is it really that hard. I have to search for posts about a game to see things about the game on the whole and most things specifcally about a subject are pretty good about spoiler tags and even then usually the subject will indicate to you if its dangerous spoiler wise.

dditty,

I uninstalled the Google News app bc otherwise I’m sure it’d send me notifications for articles about bosses and lore

smeg,

I uninstalled whatever version of it was around a few years ago when it spoiled the f1 I was planning on watching later by sending a push notification with the result the moment it finished

HeyJoe,

I am not ready to play it due to life stuff, but I absolutely have to because I know my friends will be playing it day 1 just like before, and if I didn’t join them I would have missed out on some of the best online gaming I’ve had in probably 10 years.

SkyezOpen, do games w Grayzone Warfare?

Friend plays and loves it, but says wait a few months to buy. From what I’ve seen it’s a very strong looking beta, but lots of issues still need ironed out before it’s meaningfully playable. I was sold as soon as I heard there was a pve mode because open world constant potential pvp is too much stress, but still giving it a bit before I actually pick it up.

I’ll sticky that for the time being to remind everyone to be mindful of spoilers.
You are free to not care about spoilers, but at least respect those who do, thank you.

First things first, pull up Trash Guides and set up the *Arr stack -- Sonarr for shows, Radarr for movies, Bazarr for subs, and Prowlarr for indexers/trackers. Then setup transmission+OpenVPN or something similar to torrent behind a VPN. Finally, hook up Jellyfin so you can serve the media.
