What games would you recommend others to just play on easy difficulty angielski

I am making my way through Yakuza series right now and while playing 5 I realized that I am not that invested into the game’s combat, so I turned it to easy and that just streamlined the combat so much for me. I would recommend to maybe try Yakuza 0 on normal at first and then just switch it to easy if you feel like the...

Omegamanthethird,

I love the combat in the game. I think I played it on normal. I wouldn’t recommend anything easier. I feel like everything would die too easily.

Omegamanthethird,

I wonder what game stories benefit from a bit of challenge.

Like, I feel like The Last of Us benefits from a little bit of challenge to drive home the anxiety and cleverness of the characters.

Omegamanthethird,

Early Resident Evil games were essentially horizontal Metroidvania. Open world makes sense.

Omegamanthethird,

It was 3. But IIRC, it was the first 360 game to have multiple discs.

Omegamanthethird,

It seems like podcasts are their main product now. And that should be staying for the moment. That’s what I listen to. I don’t watch their videos anymore, and I haven’t in quite a while.

Omegamanthethird,

I have no problem with them standing by that it doesn’t need any sales and is already a reasonable price. But saying it’s out of respect for those that already bought it is just a bs excuse.

Omegamanthethird,

I just finished Spider-Man Miles Morales. So I’m gonna be starting Spider-Man 2 soon.

Omegamanthethird,

It seems more like a PS5 Upgrade which it never got before. AFAIK you can even upgrade for $10 if you have the original.

Omegamanthethird,

No

Omegamanthethird,

I believe the original is just PS5 enhanced, similar to running it on a PS4 Pro. But it’s still a PS4 game running on the PS5.

I don’t know the ins and outs. But most games like that have an upgrade that makes them into actual PS5 games (like you can only play it through the SSD for example).

Omegamanthethird,

I’ve been play Theatrhythm Final Bar Line since beating Final Fantasy 16. Next I’m either playing Spider-Man Miles Morales or Stranger of Paradise.

Omegamanthethird,

Final Fantasy VIII, Half-Life 2, and Halo 4 were those games for me. Absolutely blew me away.

Omegamanthethird,

checks which game is “best”

This list is 100% accurate.

Omegamanthethird,

Yeah, I do love Morrowind. It’s one of my favorite games of all time. But I’m putting Skyrim, FO3, and FONV above Oblivion easily.

Omegamanthethird,

Hasn’t every other generation come with a price decrease and a bigger size reduction? This seems like it’s really just a new model.

The biggest upgrade is the SSD size. But digital is getting more expensive (but also has the disc drive option). Seems like it’s just not enough upside for anyone to get excited over compared to previous generations.

Omegamanthethird,

I don’t think it’s for people planning on buying the disc drive. But it’s a nice way to avoid FOMO for anyone that doesn’t want to get locked out of discs forever (without buying a whole new console).

Plus, for people looking to save some money, it could be an opportunistic purchase if they find it for cheap later.

Omegamanthethird,

Infinite made me not care about the franchise. Which is impressive because I loved the franchise.

Omegamanthethird,

Are you talking about the original Demon’s Souls? From what I’ve heard, there are so many QOL improvements they can’t really be treated as the same game.

Also, Ratchet and Clank made me happy to have a PS5 (at that time the PC release hadn’t been announced).

Omegamanthethird,

It really feels like a FOMO relief for people who want to go all digital. Just in case you want to get discs later.

In other words, Sony wants you to buy digital and don’t worry so much about it.

Omegamanthethird,

Most of the extra size is from cooling. So it’s not surprising that someone could make it slimmer by messing with that.

Omegamanthethird,

At least for the US, the price increase is just for digital version. And honestly, I’m certain the old digital had a profit margin hit in comparison to the disc drive version. It was probably worth it to lock people out of discs. This version will have a disc drive attachment option, so they’ve just given up on their all-digital endeavor.

Aside from that, $50 for 175 GB SSD isn’t a great value. The extra 175GB SSD is a significant increase. And for the disc version, that’s purely an upgrade.

Omegamanthethird,

In the US, there are multiple holidays people get together for. Halloween (to a lesser degree), Thanksgiving, Christmas (or Hanukkah), New Years. Extended families will often get together multiple times for these and then not see each other again until the next year. Thanksgiving really kicks off the retail season with black Friday, but there’s also a lot of time off during the winter time from school and work.

It really is a season with Christmas at the center of it. A lot of our “Christmas” songs don’t even mention Christmas. It’s just songs about winter.

Omegamanthethird,
Omegamanthethird,

When I was a kid, it wasn’t entirely uncommon to get a big gift during a random holiday get-together.

But I think “holidays” is more of a generic retail term used to get people to buy more and feel less limited.

Omegamanthethird,

Why does it feel like every remake messes with lighting? As if making things brighter means it looks better. Halo CE is another that gets blasted for ruining the anesthetic of the original.

Omegamanthethird,

I had no idea. I think that pretty much explains the confusion then.

Omegamanthethird,

Still playing Final Fantasy XVI since release.

Getting to the end of it and I’ve really loved it. The Eikon abilities have really flourished throughout the game starting as supplemental to combat to being a cornerstone of combat.

Other than that, the story has been great as well as the subplots. I can’t express how happy I am with this game after the disaster of Final Fantasy XV and the all of the FFVII stuff.

Omegamanthethird,

Tangent: I LOVE Final Fantasy. Really liked XVI a lot, too. (A hell of a lot better than XV.)

But it’s funny, for the longest time I was the same way with finishing them. I’d usually get anywhere from 1/3 to 2/3 through and just set it down. I think it was some time between XIII and XV that I made an effort to actually finish them.

Omegamanthethird,

I was so excited for XV and it just killed my excitement for the franchise. I almost skipped over XVI because it just looked so uninspired. XVI has really revitalized that excitement for the franchise though. I’m loving this game.

I plan on getting a buddy and going through Strangers of Paradise next. I had played through the demo with a friend and it was a blast.

Omegamanthethird,

I want to do a New Game+ so I can keep upgrading my abilities and not worry about the story. These updates are going to add a little fun to it.

Omegamanthethird,

I like XVI A LOT. Everything leading up to the game was awful and uninspiring. The demo was the only reason I ended up buying it. I can see why though. The whole game is pretty much just spoilers after spoilers. And that’s all of the interesting stuff.

Even showing some of the abilities (the fun part of combat) is spoilery.

Not counting games that were unfun because of bugs, what’s the most unfun video game that you’ve played and what made it unfun? (kbin.cafe) angielski

Most of the video games I’ve played were pretty good. The only one I can think of that I didn’t like was MySims Kingdom for the Nintendo DS. Dropped that pretty quickly. It was a long while ago, but I’ll guess it was because there were too many fetch quests and annoying controls.

Omegamanthethird,

FFXV isn’t the worst game I’ve ever played. It’s not even my least favorite Final Fantasy. But it’s probably the biggest lost opportunity of any game I’ve ever played by a wide margin. The combat is almost a lot of fun. The magic is really neat. The summons would be awesome if they were more controllable (some summons you will rarely see because of location criteria). The open world is cool, but mostly empty and completely removed from the EXTREMELY linear story.

But the worst offender is all of the story beats that are devoid of context or follow up. Apparently all of the backstory is spread out between the movie, a cartoon, and the DLC. But playing through blind it’s just random stuff happening. The game had potential to be the most epic story if they could have stuck the execution of it.

Omegamanthethird,

The game has a lot going for it. It just has a hard time sticking the landing in a lot of ways. Once you get to Altissa the entire story goes at breakneck speed (because apparently they expect you to put dramatic sequences on hold to mill around in the open world that you already left). There’s a lot of really cool story bits that just aren’t given the respect they deserve.

Lunafreya and Prompto are two that really stick out to me that should be huge moments that the game just skims past. (I didn’t play the DLC, so maybe Prompto’s DLC helps this. I also didn’t watch Brotherhood.)

Having said that, I liked the combat mostly. I like the magic system mostly. I like the summons mostly. I like the traversing mostly. Also, I meant to mention that I’m pretty sure you can drive the car despite what the other poster said. Playing the entire FF music catalog in the car was cool. I like the characters mostly.

It’s a mostly good game that could have been amazing with some better choices.

Omegamanthethird,

Flying around in VR in space in NMS is amazing. I think I lost interest because of the unnecessarily cumbersome crafting and item management though.

Omegamanthethird,

Final Fantasy VII. I love the franchise, but never got far into VII. Played through it so I could have an opinion on it, so I could see what I was missing. I ended up very disappointed.

Omegamanthethird,

Well, I’m still using my $200 laptop from 7 years ago for my basic computer needs. And that doesn’t seem like it’s going to change soon. Also, someone who buys a gaming PC is likely going to have a cheap laptop to do their basic computer stuff still.

Also, I get my subscription for $40 on sale, mostly for the games and discounts. So it really just pays for itself in the games I get from it.

Omegamanthethird,

So then I guess that would be no. Withdrawing relations due to it not being a viable financial option is not boycotting.

Omegamanthethird,

That’s the difference. If people stop buying because it’s not worth the price vs them stopping buying because they think the company is charging more than is reasonably expected.

I’m not boycotting, I just don’t think the higher tiers are a good value anymore. I might not get the Essentials package either, because the value is questionable. But if I stopped buying it because I thought the company was price gouging, then that would be boycotting.

Omegamanthethird,

You think they’d call it the Switch 2? No, it’ll be way more vague about being a successor vs an upgraded console. New Switch, SwitchU, 3Dwitch, Switch Swatch, Sandwitch, SwitchPlus, Switch Yellow, Switch One. I’d bet on any of those.

Omegamanthethird,

It was a discussion. And XBox Live was a significantly better experience than PSN. A lot of people were happy to have the premium online experience on PS4 vs the barebones PS3 experience.

To be clear, I had PS Plus on the PS3 when it was just unlocked (free-ish) games and extra discounts. And most of my favorite playstation multiplayer was on the PS3. So I was mostly indifferent to the change.

Omegamanthethird,

I’m probably switching from Premium to Essential. I might drop it completely. I really don’t game online much.

Omegamanthethird,

I thought feature parity was always the expectation for the Series series. This is both interesting and once again making me regret getting the SS. I wish they had just made a digital SX like Playstation did the PS5.

Omegamanthethird,

Just a note, it’s not $100 difference. It’s $200 difference ($300 vs $500). Having said that, the only reason I got the SS was because I couldn’t get the SX. I tried and failed. I would have preferred a $400 digital version of the SX even. Settled for the SS. Had to get an SSD expansion card, feature parity is apparently not a thing, had to rebuy a couple games digitally.

Omegamanthethird,

I feel like developers have completely given up on optimizing games. Any game should be able to run on the SS. Most games can run on last gen consoles
