The easiest way to figure out where a game is writing its saves is to load it up in Sandboxie and save your game, then check sandboxie’s box content to see what got updated or saved and where.
Also, Cyberpunk is on GOG (because it’s made by the people who run GOG), there’s no need to get it through DODI unless you have a severely restricted internet connection and therefore desperately need the smaller size of a repack - you can get the clean gog installer from gog-games. You should just be able to install the latest GOG version over the old version with no difficulty.
Yes, I was planning to download the new version from gog games. But when I installed the game I didn’t think about gog games at all, when searching for games I often go directly to DODI.
Could you explain this Sandboxie method? I don’t understand, what do I have to upload?
Sandboxie is a sandboxing app. It’s main purpose is to isolate an app from your PC, mainly used to run suspicious apps. It can track what the isolated app does.
It’s rather complicated, so it’s easier to find the game here, or as what I do, use Everything and sort by recently modified files so I can check what files are just written.
I can also recommend Everything (1.5a) as it’s the only tool I know of where I can search not only for file names, but also for the contents of pdfs, docx, etc on every drive, including network drives.
You can also check out Process Monitor which is a freeware tool from Microsoft. So basically what you would do is: open process monitor, make a new game save and then process monitor will show you where this save file is located.
This actually worked, thank you. I’ve located the save files now. Now what, I copy it and (in case the reinstallation of the game deletes those files) just paste it?
Yes, backup save and config files, and restore them in case of the reinstallation, but generally games rarely delete them when you uninstall them. This approach works almost with every game.
Can any of you guys with access to private trackers search for “keroro VF” or “Keroro titar” or “Keroro french”. Me and several people been looking for it, some for almost half a decade but to no avail. It’s a lost media so if you can try finding it on there we’ll be very grateful. Thanks in advance !
Are you allowed to say what site this is on? I've only used the bay and torrdroid results to look in the past (admittedly,I haven't looked in a while since it never gave me the right copy)
The directors cut is literally a completely different movie. Every scene is an alternate scene that they filmed that I believe creates a whole different storyline. I've never made it past the first 10 minutes
Thanks a lot , any help is very much appreciated ! can you tell me the name of the ones you tried so i can tell the team they’re not available there. Again, thanks
I searched the whole internet and i didn’t find it. Nyaa got dead torrents of the french fansubs of the 2014 reboot of the original 2004 show.
We’re looking for the french dub of 2004 original show. only the first 3 seasons out of 7 were dubbed. They aired till around 2013 on different french kids channels then it dissappeared forever. DVDs were planned but never released.
Another site i tried and is supposed to have everything is animetosho but no luck either.
I'm not on nyaa, but if they allow requests, you might try making one for this show. There are also some French-oriented trackers that I suppose might be a possibility, but I don't speak French and never had anything to do with them so I'm not at all sure.
Likely a combination of the community having more tech savvy individuals + realising Reddit would fuck over r/Piracy eventually, making more of them follow dbzer0 here when they were overthrown.
For broad compatibility and good quality+compression, h265. I use Handbrake’s Nvidia encoder and it works great. I’m not sure about the differences between AAC and AC3.
AAC is generally more modern and better for lower bitrates, but AC3 (also known as Dolby Digital) has the advantage of being able to be transmitted in 5.1 over SPIDF optical connections, so it can allow for surround sound in older setups that may not otherwise be able to recieve digital surround sound.
Opus is slightly better than AAC at matched bitrates, slightly less commonly supported, and totally open-source. It’s a fine choice as well.
Also of note because of its use for anime encodes is FLAC, which is lossless and therefore results in much larger files, but will always have the exact same quality as the original audio it encoded, so it’s excellent for archival quality.
That was a >100gb download that took the moderators time to download and test. And the admins weren't involved. All the claims of admins backing the torrent or deleting comments has had zero proof, as it was all hysteria drummed up by the psychotic cracker called Empress, who has had a long standing imaginary feud with 1337x.
1337x can have malware in anything, as anyone can upload. The volunteer moderators downloaded and tested it as soon as they could. I'm sorry some people downloaded it faster, but there's no conspiracy here.
I’m favoring h265 10-bit for my library recently. Whether SDR or not, it seems to provide a slightly better compression ratio and fewer banding artifacts than 8-bit. Any player that can handle 4K streaming content can decode h265 10-bit, so there’s a ton of forward compatibility for the foreseeable future
I believe I had this working once but unfortunately I don’t recall having to troubleshoot anything.
Right now I just use a stack and put all my apps the need VPN in that docker stack and use kasm Firefox with ipleak to double check the VPN.
The reason I use the VPN container (gluetun) is I think I can specifically connect it to the nord p2p servers… Is that possible with the proxy settings?
ok, i tried that (109.202.99.45) and it still does not work. The “retrieving metadata” progress animation keeps animating, and no info in the magnet link on the ipleak.net website shows up.
Oh that’s one I haven’t heard in a while, maybe I’ll give it a shot too, thanks!
I have not gotten cloudstream to work
For the extensions you mean?
I successfully got them from cloudstream[dot]on[dot]fleek[dot]co/repos/ it seems like that website hasn’t been taken down yet and hopefully it won’t “ever”, since, as I understand, it relies to some extent on the IPFS, though I don’t know how that works exactly
Like have you seen hw prices lately? The prices of these class of card simply crashed through the ground. 1070 are very cheap, the rx470-480 is barely sellable trash. A lot of time had passed since the 10series…
But the 5700 is not an expensive gpu to buy second hand. Cpu asks for an ancient 6core or a 2nd gen ryzen. These aren’t unreasonable specs in 2023. Time has moved on. Sorry.
Mind you I have an ancient 6core and a 1080 class card.
I’m an adult with a job, and I don’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of affording the recommended system requirements for this game any time soon. RX6800XTs do not grow on trees.
It runs like absolute crap. I have a 2070 with i9-12900k and 64gb ram and get 30fps on the LOWEST settings. That’s it.
I run Elden Ring at 120fps and just got done with Armored Core that ran at 144fps rock solid medium settings all the way through without a single blip.
Yeah it runs rock solid. I get the impression FS must have good employee retention and have very good methods for building employee skills, so over time they’ve only improved. On top of hiring and acquiring some of the best staff that must have existed in other Japanese studios. No idea how they actually treat the employees, could be like shit because it’s Japanese work culture, but something about them is producing content that is consistently a cut above everything. They’re getting up there like Rockstar in terms of quality but based in Japan instead of the UK.
If you’ve got windows 10 try updating to 22h2 (no, really; a consequence of Bethesda being acquired by Microsoft, I suspect), and update your GPU drivers.
That got it running on my 980ti, so it should also work with the 1070.
Yeah, I think it’s probably having to do with how Wine/Lutris emulates the Windows version, that makes it think it’s an older version. I’ll try on a real Windows partition…
Did u try adding it as a non-steam game directly on Steam and not using Lutris? I’ve tried both on my EndeavourOS PC and find that for whatever reason, it runs much better via Steam vs Lutris.
