I appreciate that earnest made a post yesterday, or maybe it was the day before, saying that he is not dead and hasn't given up on kbin. It's not on this magazine, so I'm not sure where it was since this seems to be the most appropriate one, but in any case....

I recently made a major update to my Improved Channel Select Menu userscript, which adds your subscribed magazines and liked collections to the channel select button in the header....

First off, I want to say I appreciate all the hard work that goes into kbin - it can’t be easy running this....

Kbin seemed tio take a nice long sleep there. I almost assumed it had fallen over for good. I Really hate the generic, undated 'over the next few days we are working on servers' mesesage.

So when someone submitted a url at least at one point it would show up on the right and you could block it. So if someone posted a newsweek link you could block any link postings from like newsweek.com or maybe reddit.com or google.com. Lately though I have not been able to. It seemed to disapear at some point. I have not seen...

This has been an issue since the beginning of Kbin tmk, but when you make a post, it won't appear under sort by hot unless it has an upvote. This means that if someone forgets to upvote their own post, it just won't appear on the default sort. There are plenty of posts I've missed because of this....

So im pretty happy with users just being able to block and control things themselves but there has been posts from this somali call girls account where I feel like the extra step of reporting is warranted.

They always obscure part of the text, no matter what. I juat want the full text....

I've been using kbin since the Reddit exodus and I still don't really know the path to finding my way into a specific community/magazine I've subscribed to. I usually search for the name using the search function, then hope I find a thread from there in the results where I can just click directly into it. Surely there must be a...

First off, I absolutely love that microblogs are a part of my main feed now....

I just suspended the 'kbin.social' domain from our side, the issues on their side is happening for days now and it really effects our service backend now also.. If they have it all solved we will remove the block and we can refollow again Sorry about this but we don't have other options

Just curious if it's somehow got to do with anything on my end. I'm generally desktop-only, firefox-only.

With the abandonment of Artemis (formerly kmoon), kbin is now only really usable by the mobile site. The site is really not suited for mobile devices however, and there have been minimal user-facing changes in the last few months....

It would just be nice to know what the heck happened.

The Unofficial Kbin Guide has been decommissioned and the Unofficial Kbin Guide magazine has been deleted....

Does anyone else get Secure Connection failed errors when connecting to kbin.run?``

Trying to look for random profiles from https://nijimiss.moe/explore on https://kbin.social/search, and Kbin Social throws an error 50x every time....

It’s impossible to tell if there is an actual server upgrade, or they have just gone down, displaying the message from last time.
