Banning spam accounts on kbin.social is a cumbersome affair....

Feeling thwarted by the 404, I suddenly remembered there are plenty of curated feeds over in Collections for us to browse. Have updated one of mine to reflect newer communities.

i don't want spam or posts against the rules to be showing up on other sites like lemmy because the deletion on kbin isn't federated, it feels irresponsible to me and will make the community look bad. can i delete a magazine?

When you're in the All Content view, the arrows on the page select always act as if you're on page 1. I.e., the left arrow never works, and the right arrow always sends you to page 2. Not sure why this is.

The issues that started occurring on Sunday turned out to be more serious than anticipated, extending beyond the application code. We are still working on resolving them to ensure the proper functioning of the website, but we need some more time. Apologies for any inconvenience.

@Ernest has pushed an update which allows users to request ownership/moderation of abandoned magazines. Ghost/abandoned magazines were fairly prevalent after the initial wave of hype due to users either squatting magazine names or becoming inactive for other reasons. Been getting a lot of 404s in Federation and blank icons here in Kbin for pictures uploaded here on Kbin. Didn't have this problem until a couple of days ago. Is this a known issue? Any workaround to this?

I just realized that some features like "Collections" are not available in other Kbin instances nor in Mbin when in theory they all use 0.10.1....

Is anyone else? One of the reasons I was interested in /kbin over other options was this feature, but I don't remember seeing them on subscribed or all. Is this new? I'm kind of intimidated by it but ultimately know I want to interact. I'm seeing some cool stuff! It's all on magazines I have subscribed to.
