When you walk into the drunk guys home for his money and kill him, but his son goes “pa, pa, pa…” I know it’s a video game, but I wasn’t expecting that. It was one of those moments where i can never forget. I felt like I actually hurt a person in my mind and kept thinking about it, still do. Absolutely the best game that brings you into the fold as a player dls 23 mod apk unlimited coins and diamonds download
The rating is 77. 77 is the lowest rating a game in the main series of Assassins Creed has received. This means the other games have 78 or up. How in the world is this considered bad? For an entire fucking franchise? Not a fan of the series or anything but I just think it’s ridiculous how this is an actual headline! Don’t the journalists have nothing else to report on regarding video games and the industry? Layoffs? Toxic people and business practices? Microtransactions?
Nah, instead they go: “pretty good (but not great) game is slightly less good than other pretty good (but not great) games in an overall pretty good (but not great) franchise.” Ugh!
The headline says it’s the lowest-rated game in the series, not that Mirage is a bad game. The article bases itself on a single data point, which leaves a lot of room for interpreting. Which the author does a little.
But it’s nowhere mentioned or claimed that Mirage is a badly-reviewed game or doesn’t sell well. It’s just the lowest entry so far. And that’s what everybody should take away from that headline, followed by ignoring the hollow clickbaity article altogether.
I watched a review video that was praising everything in this game. "Finally another good AC." "The vombat is fun and challenging." "Looks fantastic on the new engine."
Then i watched just some guy playing it and it honestly looks janky as hell. He always got stuck while parkouring, the parkour itself seems like the same press one button to do parkour, but this time it's really jank. There is no weapon variety at all. The combat looks really bad, it looks like the least fun combat in all these kind of games. The world looks really good, but the people in the world the jank ass AI and NPC doing weird shit while looking pretty Bethesda like. I haven't played it, but how this got a 77 or anything above a 5/10 is beyond me.
And they removed cs go so it’s not possible to play it anymore. We are all forced to play cs 2 or nothing now. In my case, I can’t play since it’s so laggy so I just lost a game I paid for and had 1000 hours in.
Oh I see, I personally haven’t had any performance issues and think the game looks gorgeous right now but to be honest I only played CS2 for like an hour and haven’t been playing csgo since they removed Iris from the competitive matchmaking. So I am not really the best judge for the game’s quality.
Merging reviews is really dubious though, I can kinda understand it as they replaced csgo’s store page with CS2’s but adding CS2 as a seperate game and adding it to the libraries of csgo owners would’ve been the better solution imo. I guess they didn’t want to bother with making csgo inventory tab compatible with the cs2 game.
Yeah exactly, he left because he finished the job he was there to do. Now they are acting like this is some kind of move to placate their customers as if it wasn’t the plan all along.
Yes, exactly. I’ll play other games and so will many others. There are enough CS players still playing to make sustaining it worthwhile, but it won’t win over many new players when it feels extremely dated to play.
no?, Valve tried, never gave any result, and linux surpasses it in a year of thet launch of steam deck, Apple also don’t help fucking with opengl, vulkan and switching to Arm
The article might as well be “Valve Says Counter-Strike 2 for macOS Not Happening Because We Have a Vested Interest In Selling Steam Decks” just as Apple isn’t porting iMessage (and other apps) to Android because they have a vested interest in selling iPhones.
Looks dope. Have been thinking of trying hoi4 with a friend of mine for a long time but the cost of multiple expansions is a bit much, even though there is a steam sale going. Maybe one of these days.
I’m working on a 7 year old game with Unity. It will take me a long time and energy to port to Godot. I’m gonna carry on with unity, but I’m learning Godot at the same time. I really wish there was a porting button you could press.
A button to export project you mean? Amazon could definitely give Godot some love. There are exporting projects, but they break a bit on the code part apparently
I spent a week and really liked Godot, lightweight, amazing UX, very compatible with Linux, and the feeling of being part of a community is so good. C# support is great, but not as good as Gdscript, and coding in C# is so much faster for me. For instance there is no hot reloading on C#. Managed to get Vs code working and debugging after as while but broke the compatibility with unity of Vs code. So it’s tricky to work on both engines on Vs code simultaneously.
I wonder if part of the reason is that apple deprecated opengl on mac os and replaced it with their property graphics api Metal. I image it would be a lot of work to port the source the engine to Metal just for a small amount of users.
Good luck. If the SEC hasn’t already started building a case against him for insider trading, then nothing is going to happen to him. He’ll get a golden parachute and scurry off to ruin some other company.
"Selling shares before the announcement" was a pretty egregious misrepresentation. He has scheduled pre-registered sales on a regular basis because he gets paid partly in stock.
It was always going to be relatively soon after a sale of stock.
Just want to add you’re right but what pisses me off is that they still can influence decisions based on this. Let’s say his shares are sold at x day, just do some decisions before that and boom your auto sell share price is now either higher or lower. Only because it’s predetermined they still influence it and SEC now can’t do shit.
This has nothing in common with insider trading and doesn't resemble it in any way. The shares he sold weren't a relevant proportion of his ownership. He didn't sell then deliberately tank them. He sold then announced something he thought would improve the value of his big stake in the company. The decision almost definitely cost him a lot of money by substantially lowering the trajectory of his company's ability to maintain market share.
Exactly. It was plopping his dick on the table, then realizing "oh shit, no one actually is impressed by this".
Insider trading would be more "I know we're about to get sued for this egregious fuckup and have no defense, so I'm going to sell before the news leaks". Strategy knowledge can be part of insider trading, but it would tend to be more buying shares because you have advanced knowledge that a highly lucrative contract has been signed before the announcement. It would be harder to have selling because of a strategy decision be insider trading unless you were opposed to it internally, because decisions you make are intended to make the shareholders (you) money.
Don’t you bring facts into this! We want to be outraged!
Being serious though, they ought to be investigating whether there were any changes in those sale orders. If they’ve been the same and unchanged for the last two years or some long period of time, I don’t think there’s a case. But if they’re was an adjustment a month or two ago, that would be very problematic.
I think you mean a nice golden parachute to reward them for taking the heat, so they can swap in a new expensive face to implement slightly less unpopular fees.
It shouldn’t be when they were talking about making that shit retroactive for games that were already released. Unity proved they cannot be trusted. Besides, developers should move to other engines for the sole reason of sending a message to the other guys in the industry like Epic’s Unreal Engine. Pull shit like this and you’ll lose out on the developers. Make them realize that Unity was a failed experiment and no one wants to be like them.
