It seems like the link to both would be @name@kbin.social. If somebody creates a user named news, it would therefore be found at @news@kbin.social - which is where the news magazine is found.

@sab Actually, that's the idea, Lemmy and Matrix use a ! before the URL to name communities/rooms for example https://lemmy.world/c/technology but Mastodon doesn't support it and they are the biggest platform so they don't have any plan to do it, Kbin's solution was to use the same logic for users than for magazines. If you access a magazine from Mastodon you will see that it works as a user. Many people think that Lemmy is the only one who resists Mastodon's bad practices.

Final day 3 of #R10#Baltic#sea#gravel#BikePacking. The last stage was 118km from #Smołdzino to #Władysławowo. The morale was ok, the legs held on but the sun was shining strong and we are heavily sunburnt…💀🫣 Fortunately, we’re now in the train back to #Poznan!🥰
Day 2 of #R10#Baltic#sea side #gravel route. Today we’ve done 150km #bicycle ride from #UstronieMorskie to #Smoldzino. It was again against the wind, but somehow we’ve went even faster. The legs are good, the forecast is nice for tomorrow, so hoping for the best!🥹
An early wake up, quick ride to a #Poznan train station to start our #gravel#R10#Baltic#sea trip. Day 1 - 118km from #Swinoujscie to #UstronieMorskie. All against the wind with no hope for improvement tomorrow. But it’s all fine…😁🫣🥹
Ten tydzień był bardzo słaby muzycznie dla mnie. Właściwie dopiero dzisiaj udało mi się wyłuskać dwie produkcje, które jako tako mogę polecić.
Agabas, album "Hard Anger" - już kiedyś o nim pisałem, a teraz wydali nowy krążek. Są określani jako "jazz metal" - wpływy instrumentarium jazzowego są tutaj silne, ale poza tym jest tutaj całkiem dużo agresywnego metalu. Pod tym kątem trochę różni się od innych eksperymentalnych zespołów jak First Ward czy Imperial Triumphant, które są bardziej gęste lub bardziej eksperymentalne. Tutaj mamy po prostu metal (bardziej death) poprzetykany jazzem.
Stellar Blight, album "Eventide: Synod of the Dying Stars" - debiut polskiej formacji, która gra melodeath. Znawcy mówią, że to "Dissection po polsku" i trochę jest w tym racji, choć przyznam, że fanem szwedzkiej formacji nigdy nie byłem, więc nie wiem, czy dobrze to ocenię. Nie jest to granie fantastyczne, ale na tyle dobre, że parę kawałków jest wartych ponownego odsłuchu.
Przerażająco infantylna i zła książka. Wiem, że ma wysokie oceny, bo pewnie jej target czuje sie oczarowany, ale powiem szczerze - dla mnie to jedna z najgorszych książek, jakie czytałem w ostatnich paru latach. Niesamowita szmira, z którą autentycznie się męczyłem (abyście Wy nie musieli). Więcej powodów w opinii na LC:
