They do except there’s the additional condition of 2 weeks since purchase date. So as long as you’ve played less than 2 hours and purchased within 2 weeks, you’ll get an automatic refund (unless you abuse the system, but I’ve returned many games over the years and never had issues).
I’ve only taken advantage of this once. When I had VR, I got some utility program because it advertised being able to do something I was trying to do (I don’t remember what exactly), but it didn’t actually do that thing. I requested a refund after like 20 minutes of using it and it was pretty much instantly refunded.
Damn good policy, as long as you check out what you buy pretty quick to make sure it’s what you want, IMO.
I don’t understand why they ever stopped. Rayman Legends was amazing, and wasn’t it a big success? They keep porting it everywhere but I’d really love a sequel.
So the complaint is that sales are not as large as the inflated projections. Have these clowns in three piece suits even tried their shitshow of a product?
Yeah the definitive edition sale came in clutch. I only had the base game and the tech priest on PS5 but now I have the sororitas and the mission dlcs all for a tenner on steam. Should pair nicely with the steam deck.
They did a pretty good job fixing it up… but it also took like 4-5 years. Some things I’m like “it took at least 5 years for you to think of implementing this??”
Edit: 5 years meaning it should have been added during the initial development.
If by “geometry stretching” they mean polygons being rendered all over the place, that being fixed means Vulkan should be the better choice in most cases now.
I hope they optimize performance in act 3 though. The amount of NPCs and stuff going on in the world causes severe frame drops, even with my 7950X3D.
Have you tried setting the process priority to high? (Task Manager -> Details -> Right click BG3 -> Det priority to high). This got me a relatively smooth experience.
Probably could have spent less if it was given more time to bake, glad they invested it though 2.0 really brought the game closer to where it needed to be. Still not what was promised back in 2018, but it’s playable and enjoyable enough now.
Well at least they could make a game that expands on the story, since the story is based on the IP, even if they couldn’t use things specifically from the previous game or call it a sequel.
This is promising! I'm glad to see that the expansion has revitalized the love for Cyberpunk. I really hope they keep expanding on this franchise, Night City is just too good of an environment to not have those amazing stories put into the spotlight.
I don’t get it. The game looked completely unremarkable. Even its big hook of having some microgravity stuff was barely present in the trailers. This was their big play? Really?
a “total lack of direction” around the game, with one contributor stating many members of the leadership team were “asleep at the wheel but they never seemed to lose their jobs”. The same source noted an engine change and “not committing to doing anything adventurous with the game” were all part of Hyenas’ ultimate demise.
