SMTV nailed the general gameplay for me better than any other SMT or Persona game, so I’m interested in better performance on PC and what looks like a semi-functional story. Despite all its flaws I’ve been wanting to play through again, this would make that feel less wasteful.
… But I do wish I didn’t need to rebuy the whole game.
The PC version is a much older release. GameSpy was a thing when it came out, I don’t think it’s a good benchmark for how this upcoming rerelease is going to be.
GameSpy is patched out of the game now, and I'm pretty sure you can play over LAN regardless. Plus the games are available on GOG. If you don't want to put up with microtransaction nonsense in these games, there's for sure a route to avoid it.
This is awesome, II was probably my most played game of that generation. It’s too bad they didn’t add 4 player splitscreen from the Xbox version as that’s how I spent most of my time with this, but I’m not going to complain about a good thing and it’s great they didn’t remove splitscreen entirely like way too many new or remastered games.
Realistically though I can’t see many situations I’d be able to get 3 other friends in the same room to play splitscreen and on the off chance I do I still have my original Xbox and disc with 4 working controllers.
I have no idea what that trailer was about, so that tracks with FromSoft, and I love them for it, and I will be playing this. Probably after another base game playthrough
Cleanup Detail is definitely more involved since you have to replace mop buckets, pick up giblets, incinerate those giblets, and mend bullet holes, while with Powerwash its point and shoot, sometimes with special cleaner to go faster on bits.
Then there’s Serial Cleaner and the aptly named sequel Serial Cleaners, which makes everything a bit more frenetic as it becomes a stealth action cleaning game.
I’ve played Viscera, and I actually really like it cause I can get into a bit of a flow state when I’m going along. I find it similar to Hardspace imo.
Idk…I don’t find it that much frustrating, yeah a couple of times here and there you might make a mess but it feels still relaxing. Of course power wash is more relaxing as you cannot make a mess or get irritated by anything, well sometimes to put the damn stairs and reach up.
