I am really looking forward to Starfield, I am a sucker for everything space. I also really wanna try out BG3 but a bit intimidated as I have never played a CRPG.
It’s very accessible compared to other cRPGs. D&D 5e was already designed to be beginner-friendly, and Larian just made it more beginner-friendly while also making one of the most open-ended games I can think of.
I’ve been enjoying BG3 quite a bit but I actually feel like DOS2 is more accessible as someone who has never played D&D. All the modifiers and weapon proficiencies and armor class things are really confusing to me as a noob. This complexity adds a ton of depth to the game but I feel like combat in DOS2 was more straightforward and I think I like it more.
Still haven’t gotten out of act 1 in BG3 yet so my opinion may change as I get more familiar with it.
As someone who totally loves the Souls games (plus Bloodborne and Sekiro) but played Armored Core 2 on the PS2 way back in the day and thought it was just kind of OK, I'm not really sure what to think about AC6 right now. On one hand I don't really expect them to diverge from the essence of what AC is and should be (deep mecha customization and intricate combat), but on the other hand I feel like the type of game that AC2 was is something that I don't look back on super fondly.
Anyone else feel conflicted about whether to pick up AC6?
AC4 was more super robot than real robot. AC5 was real robot but half-sized. AC5 also had a global multiplayer war. So, they've experimented with the series over the years.
That said, if you haven't liked AC in any form it has taken, I can't imagine you're going to like AC6.
Never played Roblox myself, but my son had a big phase and still plays from time to time. Back then we’d get him Roblox figurines once in a while. They can be disassembled/mixed and they come with codes for virtual items as well.
Daft Punk to french house i wpływy sceny UK, możesz poszukać ogólnie w stronę elektro i hałsów, albo w etykietce progressive house. Techno to konkretny gatunek, z reguły bez loopów i syntezatorów właśnie, tylko z mocnym, wyraźnym rytmem 4/4 dominjącym nad całą warstwą muzyczną. Podając przykłady z tamtych lat, puść sobie Porter Ricks zaraz po Daft Punk i powiedz że to jest to samo. xD
„techno to konkretny gatunek, z reguły bez loopów i syntezatorów”
Fallout 2. That Game has the Opposite of a Tutorial. It does Not explain anything and throws you immediately into a Dungeon where you are supposed to solve it with specific skills. Can be really annoying If you have the wrong skills. It was literally tacked onto the Game because the Publisher demanded it. Love the Game, but the Temple of Trials ist one of the worst Things in the entire Series.
That aspect of the game actually ended multiple playthroughs for me where I just could not stomach it. I rolled the character, I got set up to play, I got halfway through the Temple of Trials, and I said no actually I want to do something else. 👎
My sister keeps telling me to get it. Our Mom is currently in town and staying with me. Unfortunately, my office doubles as a spare bedroom so I can’t play rn. I don’t want her to leave, but I also want her to leave haha.
Absolutely great game! And being a Larian's title means the game will only get better and better with updates and good mod support! Like you said they really did a good job to make the game easy to follow. As an one who never played any tabletop RPGs, I couldn't understand how the combat worked in the first Pathfinder game (like at all) so I eventually dropped it, but this is not the case for BG3.
All the classes are surprisingly fun too. Like I did think I would enjoy Berserkers but they are even more funnier than I have ever imagined - when there's any problem, just roar them out, or grab it up to hit another problem and make them both prone. And I already have planned 4 or 5 classes to try in the future. Now if only they can make save files smaller in size (got 1.4G of them now)...
Noooooooooooppp, I already had a MechWarrior/Gundam like run planned where I have a big ship with mechs that I pilot and then go be a mercenary in space.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines has special lines that unlock according to your character build. Unlike a single Charisma skill, they’re divided into skills like ‘Intimidation’, ‘Seduction’, ‘Erudite’, etc. Intimidate options appear in ALL CAPS HULK SPEAK, seductive options are in italic in handwriting, and Erudite appears in blue. If you lose your humanity and become too bestial, dialogue starts disappearing as you’re too far gone to understand it and NPCs start being too scared to talk to you.
No I’m telling you that you can have more of a direct desktop experience on a handheld like ROG Ally. There’s no compatibility issues - apps and games all work as expected. What Steamdeck provides is streamlined experience but it is also limited somewhat as a result - can’t easily switch between, say, a browser and a game, can’t easily run desktop apps such as Wallpaper Engine or productivity apps. There’s a use case for Ally.
