I already sold my physical copy and I really don’t regret it at all.
My group of friends and I where really excited and played through the story together, but the endgame just wasn’t fun. I don’t know what exactly it was, but we kinda stoped playing.
The new season and “patches” didn’t really improve it a lot imho… a shame, really!
The game feels unfinished. The seasons forcing you to reset so shortly after the game just launched only to replay content you just went through in order to get season rewards that don’t even pay for the next season’s pass feels punitive.
I haven’t played since the first season launched, and likely won’t until they release the expansions. It just doesn’t have enough to keep the game interesting in the meantime, which is a shame because mechanically it’s a much better game than D3, but suffers the same problems with being a single player / co-op PvE game that Blizzard is desperately trying to make into an MMO.
Seeing most of the fixes go towards that instead of immersion kinda… You’d think they highlight those immersive aspects more. The mods are sure as hell all about immersion including working stock markets and such.
Appreciated but strange. Did they look at the sub cost and went nah or something else? I mean could have just wanted it for the beta but idk seems overkill (heh heh).
I don’t understand why anybody would pay for it while it can be cracked… sure its likely only one person in the world can crack it atm but if she wants to crack it she can and then it’s gonna be uploaded and repacked by multiple people.
Seriously. This doesn’t belong here. I don’t know why PCG is wading into some youtuber controversy that seems to have only the most tenuous connection to their bailiwick.
Bard is always the first thing I play in D&D crpgs that let me. It’s a great class that lets you do a little bit of everything. Plus it’s great to do a face-melting lute solo as the last thing you do before ending your turn, since Performance is a free action.
When the old school RuneScape wiki moved to a self hosted solution it was night and day the quality difference. I’d argue that OSRS (and probably regular RS) have some of the best wikis in gaming.
Probably should’ve asked for donations to support their passion projects or just casually have a donate button to the side. Gamers love supporting a good passion project. See: Stardew Valley and Hollow Knight for two easy examples given how many times people have bought extra copies because it’s so good and it’s so cheap and it’ll be fun to play again on Switch/Xbox/PS/PC/Mobile/Demake/audiobook/choose your own adventure
as long as they keep making really good games I’ll keep buying them and playing them. if they want to be dicks about their intellectual property, that’s a bummer, but at least they’re making good games
I kinda was. But now it has been so long and the more that i think about it, the more i realise how much i hate what they did with gta5, or gtao to be specific. I hope to pirate it to fuck around a bit, i do not plan to give them any money
