The demo is like a prologue level. Definitely play it. It will not spoil anything, it adds to the experience as you learn some stuff about The Dev (within the game world)
The only game I’m aware of in my library that has a feature like this is Satisfactory, the “ping” feature to find nodes they tutorialize but you’ll probably quickly stop using because you use an external map for planning/get to know the map.
The first game I remember doing this is The Witcher 2. Not sure if that’s the first game to come up with the idea, but it’s the earliest example I can remember.
No advice really, just wanted to say I absolutely love the game and have played through provably 6-7 times now. Very addicting and is especially comforting to play in the winter, with all the beautiful scenery and sounds.
These kinds of moments are pure Remedy magic. Take Control is similarly amazing but hell, they’ve been doing quirky levels since Max Payne! Maybe even Death Rally? I never played that one.
