I actually prefer my in game name, enough to use it at coffee shops when they call my name. I also meet up with my online friends often enough that it’s not too weird.
I play a lot of OS RuneScape and I unintentionally know a lot of dudes irl names because their wives or whatever start calling for them. We’re all like 40 now so after a few hours our wives come check if we’re still breathing
Man, I've spent many fun hours roaming around in this game. I had it on the xbox 360, and I remember being so amazed when I first got it that it came not with one or two, but four discs, lol.
I usually just have a lot of free time in the day. Plus some games i like to break up so i don’t get tired of them, especially if it’s a game i’ve played before (plus, I’m a completionist so i try to 100% all my games). L.A. Noire i had put on hold because of an issue i was having. But Fallout New Vegas started having this issue where it would crash in vats and i just wanted to play something vaguely 1940s, so i said fuck it and re downloaded La Noire to see if the issue sorted itself out
I have memories of my dad playing it on the 360 when I was younger. It’s a shame I remember seeing him beat the game because now I know how it ends. But damn. I still enjoy this game every time I play it
But commonly enough, those are also the ones who yell out the loudest " I have the latest hardware, but the game runs like shit! Optimize your games, shitty devs!!!"
Meanwhile, the potato farmers with 15 fps: “Runs fine for us.”
I recently got into eso again. Some of the lore can be a bit questionable, but it’s a fun game with some nice lore bits. I’m also glad that TES VI has not been released yet, I only recently finished my formal education and that game might have interfered.
This made me check if mine was on the defect list. Apparently laptop chips made it out unscathed, maybe because it cant draw 300w if 300w is the total power supply of the laptop, and most are far less.
