yts . mx

everything is organised great

no cam bullshit, everything is bluray or webrip

i think movies there are a bit compressed, but personally i dont even notice it

kostel_thecreed,
  • I love yts because of the small sizes. I don’t care about remuxes like the data hoarders in this community.
Ilandar,

Fair enough if you have no standards but don’t pretend it’s a choice between YTS and remuxes with nothing in-between. There is a very noticeable increase in quality just going from YTS to anything slightly larger.

ciko22i3,
@ciko22i3@sopuli.xyz avatar

can you recommend some of the websites that have those slightly larger versions? I would prefer if they are well organised like yts (multiple qualities/versions on the same page, cover pictures, ratings, good search…)

Ilandar,

1337x and TorrentGalaxy are generally pretty decent. Compare bitrates for audio and video and take note of the names of the release group. You’ll start to develop a mental list of names to look for. In terms of films, I’d recommend looking for Tigole releases on 1337x as a starting point.

TheOtterITGuy, do games w I am LOVING Baldurs Gate 3

I’m playing a gnome druid with dark urge, his troubled background is what causes the urges but deep down he just wants to be a good guy. Although, the urges do sometimes win, he tries to shop with every merchant to help the local economies. While necromancy is typically considered evil, he views it more as a “it’s stopping living people being hurt in battle.”

I only bought it last week and I’m already up to 50 hours, but I feel there’s so much I’ve missed. The amount of content is insane, and speak with animals/speak with dead just seems to increase it even more. I’ve been talking to every animal I came across and the depth of every character surprises me every time. It’s nothing like Bethesda’s “go talk to the boss, I’m a lowly grunt” esque chats, even the children have their own entire arc. I may be slightly enamored with it, I’d go so far to say this should be the gold standard of game releases.

Lol I missed out on speak with animals with the startled boar near the beginning area and I’ve regretted it ever since. Makes me want to reload a save and see what it has to say.

Edit: *Makes me, not “Make some”.

Yeah… I want to go back and turn into an animal first before I talk to the boar. Just to see what happens!

I’m sure he doesn’t give you anything special but my curiosity must be satisfied!

MrLuemasG,

I discovered speak with animals last night and my friends and I were having a riot hearing what the animals had to say. A cow talked shit at me, a rat led me to treasure. Fantastic

Aurenkin, do games w I am LOVING Baldurs Gate 3

It’s great, the voice acting seems really good right across the board too. Overall it makes for quite an engaging world and story at least for me. I’ve run into a fair few bugs and annoyances but fortunately nothing too major, been having a blast so far! Hopefully the issues that are there get patched soon.

VikingHippie,

If you don’t want to wait for patches and/or just want to customize your experience, there’s already a bustling mod scene over on the Nexus, getting bigger and better pretty much every day!

Case,

I’d just like to add that installing mods via vortex (Nexus mod manager, usually very solid) gave me a lot of issues and I had to use a mod manager built for BG3 to mod easily.

I’m sure I just wasn’t paying attention and just decided to look for an easier method.

If anyone is interested, just reply here and I’ll find the info on the mod manager when I get home.

Tl;Dr - Check individual mod install notes, BG3 doesn’t mod quite as easily as say Skyrim.

VikingHippie,

Thanks for pointing this out. I use Baldurs Gate 3 Mod Manager too and make sure to follow the advice of the second pinned comment here every time I save my new load order. I don’t know if it’s necessary to use the mod fixer mod itself when you do that, but I have it installed just in case and every mod that isn’t pre-release or broken works for me with no further issues!

VeryNiiiice,

Is there a list of mods I can browse online before installing the mod manager?

VikingHippie,

There sure is!

Transcendant,

I tried to use the mod manager to install the ‘fixer’ mod that most nexus mods claim is essential to their use.

Not sure if it’s something to do with a recent update, but the only way I could get the mods to work was by… simply copying and pasting them into the mods folder recommended by Larian lol. ‘more actions’ and ‘more spell slots’ have made the game enjoyable for me as a newcomer.

NathanielThomas,

What mods are you adding?

Chozo, do piracy w How to pirate movies casually?

If you wanna go really casual, there's sites like https://movie-web.app which will let you stream most movies in decent quality.

Doesn’t 1337x.to work for you instead of tpb?

Sephtis-6,

I still use 1337x.to for most things but i had some problems lately where the site freezes and all buttons redirect to some "tinder" add or so. Is this normal now or something in my browser config

TerryCustard,

I think it’s the ad overlay, when I click the search button an ad opens in another tab and I have to go back to re click the button. Sometimes 2-3 times before I’m allowed to click.

It’s annoying but 3 clicks for a movie is obviously cheap.

Sephtis-6,

Ok thanks, then I know that it's normal and some thing on my pc or browser.

safesyrup,

Doesn‘t happen for me with firefox+ublock. Maxbe try that?

So long as you don’t care for graphics, Driver still holds up in the feel department. Get a PSX emulator, rip/“acquire” the game and you’re good to go.

For me, it’s any game moment where the player is given manual control over a function that is usually automated or simply blocked off. For example: any game that gives you control over sheathing/holstering your weapon instead of waiting for your character to do it for you (a boon for RP in RPG games) or in GTA V when the right d-pad(?) button gives control over the gun’s flashlight or a car’s headlights and convertible roof. I’m not sure about earlier games in the series but Test Drive Unlimited even let the player roll down the individual front side windows of the car you were driving.

Edit: screw ups.

reverendsteveii,

any game that gives you control over sheathing/holstering your weapon instead of waiting for your character to do it for you

I recently bought red dead 2 and that feature took some getting used to. Especially because the controls are context sensitive and the button that starts a conversation when your gun is holstered is the same button that points that gun at a stranger if it’s out. I’m used to it now and compulsively holster my gun as soon as the shooting seems to be done, but for a while there was a lot of “Howdy partner. Fine weather we’re having ain’t…no wait wait sorry I didn’t mean…ah shit” and suddenly I’m in a shootout with the law and out $50 for my bounty when I just wanted to buy a bottle of whiskey.

DebatableRaccoon, (edited )

I know the exact problem and unfortunately that’s just a staple of contextual buttons. I generally found I had a lot of problems with RDR2 so I can’t say too much inbiased and it’s not to bash R* (this time) but when button layout is handled well, it’s manual controls like I was talking about that make the experience feel that much better.

On the subject of contextual button commands, Gavin from Achievement Hunter made the joke comparison during a Hitman video (pretty sure it was Hitman). To paraphraae because it’s been so long, “Don’t you just hate it when you walk up to a window in real life and jump out of it instead of opening it because your angle was slightly off?”

Look into snapRAID. It does parity based data protection (up to 6 I believe). It’s free, opensource. I use it to run a nightly sync and scrub of ~3% of my total disk space, so in a month it scrubs everything to protect against bit rot. It then shoots me a nightly email with any errors or issues it detects. There is a learning curve, but I’m happy to provide some basic scripts for you to get it running in Windows. You can also run it on top of pooling solution such as Drivepool.

I’ll look into this. I appreciate it. Probably down the road ill set up True NAS or set up some sort of thing with ZFS but have to kinda get more acquainted with all the programs and stuff associated with their use.

Drive all around the map in GTA V’s multiplayer (invite only session, of course) when the weather is nice. Or just walk around the city. Browsing tattoos or clothes etc. Just doing ordinary things instead of riding around on a flying motorcycle and whatnot.

I kinda hate that I am targeted because what I have fun doing in GTA5 is stunting with the Oppressor Mk1. People see it on the map and immediately start trying to fuck with me when I’m just in the mountains doing flips and ignoring everyone. :/

I don’t even have the guns unlocked for it!

Man, I have a buncha people giving me shit on my thread for BG3 asking if one of the encounters can be cheesed because the way it would be cheesed is hilarious. It’s a clone fight and I was curious if you could make the clone spawn naked and make the fight a non-issue. Now some people are upset and tell me I should just “play the game.” Is that not what I am doing? I was gonna do it anyway, I just wanted to know if I should save before hand if it fucked me over completely.

I like breaking games. It’s fun. I’ll play them the way they were “intended” once or twice; but after that I’m doing everything but that. Just to see what I can actually get away with. I thought that was the point of an interactive experience. Why the hell would I want to just do the canned ‘canon’ shit? I want to do all the things you can’t do in reality because they would hurt yourself or others. I want to test the limits of the game designer’s imagination. If I can think of it and they missed it or if they actually put that little detail in.

hascat,

While I do enjoy cheesing fights in BG3, I’ve run into a few which seemed impossible if I didn’t find a way to cheese it, which is kind of a bummer. Shoving the big bad off a cliff should be a strategy, but shouldn’t be the only one.

Kolanaki,
!deleted6508 avatar

I don’t even really want to push the BBG off a cliff. I can’t loot him if I do that!

Skua,

You may already know this because it's a big and recent game, but you can do this exact thing to a clone fight in Elden Ring

Kolanaki,
