Chill game. Named my cat Pumpkin. I’m interested in seeing where the story takes me in April.
Really like the idea of using the camcorder to record collectibles and make memoirs, though I did have an issue with some scenes I filmed not saving properly. I’d shoot something, then in a future chapter the scene in the edit menu would be replaced with a white square and the footage would be gone. Didn’t prevent me from progressing the story or unlocking any achievements, but not being able to watch some of my completed memoirs was disappointing.
That’s never happened to me yet. But I would hope we just have to start the level again from the beginning (without checkpoints) and we lose the progress we made on it for that attempt, á la Crash Bandicoot. I doubt they would make you start the whole game again like the original Kao the Kangaroo (if you don’t manually save), that would be brutal.
Uh, this looks an awful lot like a guide written by an LLM (or at the very least, a copy-paste template) posted on an unofficial site intended to hoodwink people looking for the real one. Judging by search results, there’s a few of these sites.
I don’t think we should repost content from them, or encourage them, personally. EDIT: Pretty sure this user’s a bot actually. Don’t click these links, folks.
There definitely has been some scalping, but also, just, not a huge amount of inventory available (like sub 100 units available across cities with populations in the millions). A bit of a paper launch TBH.
TSMC only has so much throughput available and NVIDIA has other products they’re selling that they can make better margins on than consumer GPUs. I’m a little surprised they launched at all given how few they’re shipping.
I wonder how much of launching now was to generate buzz to get studios to adopt methods of rendering that work best with with software, make it harder for competitors to compete on hardware.
I started playing on a PC in the 90s so as long as it’s above 40 with consistent frame pacing it’s fine. Those VRR displays and games targeting 40 are a game changer for me and why I play on Xbox with a modern LG OLED.
For shooters, especially competitive ones, as high as possible up to my monitor’s refresh rate (165Hz). Everything else 60 FPS is fine. Even 30 FPS can be fine, especially if I’m playing something on Switch.
