glitches_brew,

I have it on both and they’re pretty much identical. Having buttons available can be sorta nice for specific actions, but on the other hand a phone is easier to carry around. Both are great with minor pros and cons.

glitches_brew,

I’ll pay triple if I can play it 25 minutes before anyone else has access.

glitches_brew,

I 100% agree and you didn’t even mention the biggest selling point in my eyes. The joysticks are modular so you can swap them out if they ever get drift. The sticks are extremely high quality but drift is inevitable in most scenarios so it’s nice to only need to spend $20 instead of $200 for no more drift.

glitches_brew,

I don’t know, I refuse to play Ubisoft games.

glitches_brew,

Yeah maybe it was petty but I don’t think it was unwarranted. Every other comment so far was an exact clone of “It’s alright” so I figured I’d add a unique perspective to the conversation.

I will never be guilt tripped into speaking out against a company who engages in shitty practices, but nice try.

glitches_brew,

I have a friend that in his own words likes boring games and Starfield was too boring for him.

Can anyone suggest some good co-op games for two people? angielski

Hello all! My buddy and I finally finished up Baldur’s Gate 3 this week and we are not left with a giant co-op game shaped whole in our hearts. It was such an incredible experience and it was truly even more fun running through it together. We are excited to hop into another game, but we have no idea what to play. We’ve...

glitches_brew,

There’s a game on Kickstarter called Outbound. It’s in alpha access right now.

The game looks like it’s literally Raft in a camper van. Haven’t tried it yet but I plan to.

Steam link

glitches_brew,

They literally included a screenshot of valve asking to not share information about the game with a little quip about how they pressed escape instead of ok. Blantant disrespect to valves wishes even if it’s not a legally binding agreement.

They chose getting clicks over doing right by valve. Shame on them.

glitches_brew,

Sure, and they proved that they won’t respect valves wishes unless legally required to do so. Valve is now in a position where if they want to do future play tests they will have to manage NDAs for everyone which is probably more trouble than it’s worth. The general population is now less likely to get an opportunity like this because the verge wanted to get some easy clicks. It’s pathetic of them to sell us out like this.

glitches_brew,

This is why I exclusively use thrustmaster controllers. Joysticks are modular and cost 15-20 bucks to replace.

glitches_brew,

Surprised to not see FTL mentioned yet.

I’m loving the track Balatro has too. I wish that game had more music like the one song it has.

glitches_brew,

It’s becoming extremely frustrating.

Yup. That’ll happen when you touch anything related to epic.

glitches_brew,

Been meaning to go back and play a bit. Maybe an influx of free to play players will bring me back.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree - PREVIEW THREAD angielski

Previews for the Elden Ring DLC have just been released! Lots of journalists and popular Souls players have been to an event where they played the DLC for a few hours, giving us way more info on what to expect and things such as new weapon types and upgrade materials. This isn’t a comprehensive list, just the few that I found...

glitches_brew,

Same, which is why I also enjoy sniper and spy as second and third favorites.

glitches_brew,

I’m willing to bet the revert to carts had something more to do with the switch being handheld and it’s small form than load times. Still a beneficial side effect though.

glitches_brew,

Cosmetics are expensive too. I’m afraid a majority of players won’t pay those prices. If they offered some lower priced items they might have more consistent income.

What games do you recommend for my girlfriend? angielski

My girlfriend has never really gamed. But she’s now forced to move less than she would like to (health problem) and she’s getting bored. I was thinking of introducing her to a game or two that we could play together. She’s not the real action game type, and seeing as she has no experience with controller/mouse and keyboard...

glitches_brew,

I was gonna say animal crossing as soon as he said organizing and stuff.

glitches_brew,

Because everything involved with Epic is a dumpster fire.

glitches_brew,

I’ve got a really fond spot in my heart for The Neverhood. It really opened my young eyes to the possibility that video games could be weird and artistic. They didn’t have to be an action packed generic mainstream capitalization of whatever is popular at the moment. As a kid, I could still tell it was a unique piece of work that required a lot of passion and creativity. I consider it the first indie game I ever played and it absolutely set the tone for what I chose to play to this day.

I still listen to the soundtrack nearly three decades later.

glitches_brew,

As the designated email dev at my company I can confidently say this is not true.

Not saying that this specific email is persisted, but almost all that I work with are. It’s a very common practice.

glitches_brew,

In my experience it varies a lot. Even in our own system certain emails are stored differently. There are a few “we legally have to deliver this email and might need to prove it later” notifications. We store a PDF of those in s3. For others we might just save the data, a sent timestamp, and a key for which email visual template was used.

I also thought of a counter argument to my point overnight. We don’t store one super duper high volume email which is the email that only has an MFA code. We would also absolutely never ever dream about allowing a plaintext password in an email, so we’re probably following different patterns in the first place.

glitches_brew,

Kinda surprised safe mode has commendations… Sounds like getting the gold curse just got a lot easier.
