Apparently the devs of Sonic Mania are making a new game called Rollin’ Rascal. It’s pretty much off-brand Sonic, but there’s a demo available for the game and it’s actually really fun.

Cause I have. That’s the only reason I’ve heard of this game, but I’ve never looked into it.

Have you tried Splitgate? They came out with a Forge-like map editor last year, and the gameplay is basically Halo mixed with Portal. It’s pretty fun and totally F2P. The only things you can buy are cosmetics.

I mean at least Source 1 is still being used to develop games (or at least was before Source 2 code and all was released). Valve made a game engine so tough and versatile you can make it do anything you want.

GMod took that engine, and has done absolutely wild things with it. Hell, even just the modders for Half-Life have done crazy things with it, like make it into an isometric RTS game with Lambda Wars.

ChadCat is a channel I discovered recently that does “ADHD versions” of different popular YouTuber’s videos. They’re all under a minute with a quick text recap of what was talked about in the video. I honestly really love this channel and it’s quickly become one of my all-time favorites.

I’m not trying to advocate for short form content/media, but this person takes 10 minutes+ long videos and cuts them down to about 20-40 seconds. They’ll do video essays too.

I don’t know how many different overlays I could have. Like at least 3 or 4. But I couldn’t tell you how to activate most of them besides Steam and Nvidia.

Personally I feel like the game doesn’t respect my time as a gamer. There are too many time-constrained mini games and mechanics. Having to wait for the things to overlap so you can break open an electrical box? Why can’t I just rip it open immediately? He takes too long to get in and out of vehicles. All the collectibles were weirdly spaced so they were a little far to get to on foot, but way too short to just drive around collecting them (read again about how he takes too long to get in and out of cars). Too many oodjob missions as well imo.

It’s why I’m a fan of GoG. You can link all your accounts to it so it’ll show you all the games you own across all launchers/platforms. And you can even start them from the GoG launcher.

From what I’ve found online, the “center” of your galaxy is just a portal that sends you to the edge of a different galaxy where it’s different but more of the same.

Kinda like Starfield actually.

This looks pretty rough as it is. Like someone else said the combat doesn’t look impactful at all (I mean what the heck was that thing shooting at Hulk?), the art style is kinda mid, the VA isn’t doing that many favors (other than Yuri as Spider-Man).

The only thing that looked kinda fun was the Rocket/Groot team-up move.

That’s the thing. You see Tom in interviews and he’s actually talking to the interviewers and making jokes and stuff. He is likable.

He’s also one of the only celebrities I’m okay with separating art from artist. He makes some goddamn entertaining movies.

He’s a bit of a FromSoft fanboy, with his longest and most popular series being “Steam Dumpster Diving” where he searches the Internet for any games with a “Soulslike” tag and reviews them. He’s spent more than a few videos talking about King’s Field and FromSoft’s other earlier games.

Also he made some absolutely nasty For Honor vids a few years back that I think are worth checking out even today.

I’d recommend EpicLoot anyway. The effects it adds to some gear is sometimes essential, after playing vanilla and and with EL.

Been replaying Arkham Knight lately. Yes it does still look amazing. The environmental destruction is pretty amazing as well.

Holy shit if they added The Boondocks characters, I might actually lay this game and try to look past all the bullshit. And I’d stick with it too, and they’d be my mains. I’d honestly love to play as Huey and fuck some shit up with kung fu and the Black Power Fist. Maybe Riley has like a baseball bat and his giant Timbs or something. Grandad would of course use his belt to fight.

Shit, now I’m getting hyped for something that’ll never happen.

ETA: with the death of John Witherspoon, however, I don’t think they would or could do the character justice.
