Zahille7,

So just wait a couple days after the update like normal?

K.

Zahille7,

Right? That Thrillbilly Mud Cup thing looked pretty insane from the short clip on the trailer.

Zahille7,

I thought it looked pretty good.

That said, I thought the first few seconds right up until Dogmeat started eating the Radroach looked pretty mid. I got really psyched and excited when I saw the BoS power armor

Zahille7,

I mean we already saw mutants (NOT Super Mutants or Centaurs) in the form of Chris Parnell’s Overseer Cyclops in the trailer. The rest of the shots (especially the Yao Guai tearing up that Paladin) make me think it’ll be more lore-accurate.

Zahille7,

What are your thoughts on Bowsette?

Zahille7,

I think it would look great in black, but purple “shine.” Kinda like Raven’s costume in Teen Titans

Zahille7,

Ya… That’s how it goes lol. It’s definitely enough to put you off the game for a long time.

Personally, the sailing and fishing brings me back from time to time. When you’re on a chill server, it’s really nice and peaceful to just sail along the open ocean.

Zahille7,

Ezio meeting Altair for the first and last time at the end of AC: Revelations

Also the “I’m Afraid” scene with Sister Calderon in RDR2

Zahille7,

Playing Pokemon Go without data or a vehicle to get around was a waste of time imo.

So you’re right. They should have implemented some kind of GPS spoof in the app by default

Zahille7,

Aftermath is a crap site that also practices the things they complain about?

Zahille7,

Early 2000s Xbox, so I grew up on Psychonauts, Blinx the Time Sweeper, Blinx 2, Jet Set Radio Future, and Spider-Man 2 (the movie game).

Zahille7,

The description of the patent makes it seem like twitch chat integration, which is already a thing in a lot of games like Cities: Skylines.

Zahille7,

I found this article about Twitch and Warp World, the company that developed Crowd Control.

This particular bit is interesting to me:

Warp World reported that in October 2017, the month they launched, over a million Bits passed through the Crowd Control Extension.

Zahille7,

Lol a $60 season pass for a shitty mobile game?

Zahille7,

Definitely. I have it on steam and it’s an incredibly fun destruction sandbox. I haven’t played with the creative mode yet, but there are TONS of awesome mods on the workshop. It runs on lua so the architecture is similar to GMod.

Zahille7,

I personally don’t know anyone, let alone know how anyone plays first-person games with inverted camera controls.

Zahille7,

I definitely understand for flight sims and other aviation games like Ace Combat, but it still seems more intuitive to tilt the stick in the direction you want to look, rather than the opposite direction.

Zahille7,

That honestly sounds terrible. Part of me is tempted to try playing a game like that just to see how it is.

Zahille7,

Not sure if the only cameras you’re thinking of are tv/movie cameras or not, but cameras have been controlled non-invertedly for as long as I can remember.

Zahille7,

You seem to have described about at least a quarter of indie games on steam.

Zahille7,

They really need to mod the wingsuit into the game somehow. I remember playing the demo way back when and being blown away by how much you could explore even there. I got the game a couple years later and to this day I still haven’t finished it.

Zahille7, (edited )

I don’t have a PS5, but I’d seriously consider it (even moreso after Spider-Man 2) if they made a Jak & Daxter and Sly Cooper Remastered collections.

I know there was the PS3 Sly Cooper game(s), but still.

Zahille7,

Well of course, just look at Modern Warfare 3 and they’re $70 DLC that people actually paid for.

Zahille7,

And you’re not talking about Fortnite, correct?

Zahille7,

It really does look like a texture glitch.

That fucking sucks if it’s intentional.

Zahille7,

I heard about it for the first time when I saw this post/article today.

Zahille7,

That’s kind of ridiculous for a controller. Unless the entire casing is metal or something, that doesn’t seem worth it imo.

Zahille7,

I kicked ass in the Half Sword demo last night, so I’m probably gonna do another run in Exanima and see how far I can make it.

Zahille7,

Don’t let the two-sentence review in the article fool you. It’s basically exactly like JSRF (which was also a huge game in my childhood), and then some. The music has all the same vibes, the movesets and tricks are awesome, the vibrant colorful world reminds me of Tokyo-to to a T.

Do you and your childhood self a favor and check it out!

Zahille7,

I haven’t played in a couple years. Are you still bombarded with texts and phone calls as soon as you load into the game? And is theininap barely visible because of all the mission/activity markers?

Because that’s how it was last time I got on there. And that was right after they added the demolition derby stuff.

Zahille7,

Which seems ironic right? You’d think the type of game best suited for a “games as a service” style would be MMOs.

Zahille7,

MKIceandFire on YouTube. All they do are lets-plays with no commentary most of the bullshit cut out.

Zahille7,

I never thought about someone turning the deck into their main rig. But it makes sense seeing as it’s basically a handheld gaming PC.

Zahille7,

Ugh yes. Just turn your brain off (after the tutorial) and have fun

Zahille7,

Just like the Mario movie? Cause as kinda fun-ish as it was, it was still pretty cringe when they had literally all the references to the Mario tropes. The fuckin koopa even just yells out “BLUE SHELL” before he goes into it.

Zahille7,

I had the same thoughts lol. I was just like “hmmm, more copium for the fire”

Zahille7,

I’m replaying GTA4 right now. I’ve never done Lost and Damned or Ballad of Gay Tony, so I’m working through those stories now.

Zahille7,

Safe?

Zahille7,

Team Reptile didn’t have a release date for Bomb Rush Cyberfunk until they knew when they wanted to release it. No one knew when it would come out until the release date trailer, about a month before it actually released.

Zahille7,

“Oh, this is pretty cool.”

Then it turns into: “can I skip this? Please?”

Zahille7,

I’m almost done with my current playthrough of GTA4, started a new modded game of Skyrim so I can bash people around with two-handed weapons, been diving back into Exanima and I’ve been trying out the Half Sword demo as well.

I really want to sink my teeth into Tainted Grail, but it’s still EA and my current save doesn’t work.

Zahille7,

It’s definitely shorter, but I still think it’s just as good as the first one

Zahille7,

Man I still haven’t finished that game once and it’s been years lol. The DLCs are cool, the Predator one is hard as hell, so come prepared.

Zahille7,

Just to add onto your question: anyone here play the early access preview of that Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon game? Because I think it looks awesome. It looks to me like what Hellraid could have been (the dark fantasy first-persom dungeon crawling RPG from Techland, who ended up stopping development on that and made the Dying Light games instead).

Zahille7,

No one’s mentioned it here, and I just got it last night because it looked pretty damn cool, and it is actually: Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon.

It’s kinda like a cheap Elder Scrolls game mixed with a tiny bit of Souls-Like (you have a stamina bar and a dodge-dash move), but it works. It’s in early access, with the first chapter of the story out now. The devs say it’s about 15-20 hours worth of content so far, and I’ve only put in a few myself.

I haven’t really gotten into the main story myself, but it’s based on Arthurian Legend/the Tainted Grail tabletop series. It’s kinda like a gothic Oblivion mixed with the Witcher.

Tbh I mostly checked it out because it seemed to have a pretty sweet magic system, which lately I’ve been really in the mood for a game with a good magic system.
