From what I’ve played Killing Floor 2 is at the top of my list when it comes to satisfying gunplay. The original was lots of fun too. As long as this one keeps up the quality, it seems like it is hard for them to fail, right?
Tv has updated (although i do still have a crt for missile command and scope on the ol’ snes) but yup, the punch-button switch with the wood and metal chassis is my baby!
Be also ready for the realization of how barebones those games are. Played a couple of 2600 games with a friend and there is just a tiny amount of genuine fun to be had. And I am definitely not hating on simple old games! But most of the games we tried boiled down to “follow ball” with terrible controls. His collection might just have been bad, though.
Game quality is what crashed the home video game industry between Atari’s decline and Nintendo’s rise. Not that all of the games were bad, there were just so many bad games out there that buying games became a gamble that disappointed more often than not.
Nintendo improved on this by requiring games meet certain standards before they’d let someone release them for their system.
Looks good. The original was repetitive when it comes to gameplay and not the best from Remedy, but the story and the setting were still great, so I’m glad we’re getting this sequel.
Very excited for this. This was one of my favorite games on 360 when it came out. Just recently played the remastered and felt it was a bit repetitive. Hope they’re able to get some variation going with the combat for the sequel.
I still need to go through the DLC. Has anyone gone through them?
