Just finished up this one. No-stabilizers, handwired custom 98% layout. 3D printed case and feet, plate laser cut from 3.2mm Masonite, blank XDA laser dye-subbed in a Josefin Sans Medium font. Not exactly professional fit and finish, but it types nice with Box Jades, and ZERO STAB RATTLE! ZERO!!!
That curve at one side and the numpad being merged withe the rest of it is a really nice look! I love the feel of box jades but they’re just too loud for me unfortunately.
Thanks. I am overall very pleased with how it came out, especially on a budget. In particular, the layout is quite usable and versatile. Visually though, I've had to convince my brain that my hands are in the right spot. The left hand modifiers aren't actually too small or anything, but your hands are set up much closer to the left edge, even compared to a typical 1800 layout, so it's a mental adjustment.
I may or may not extend the keymapping out to include four spacebars and move some other bottom row stuff around, but that could just be that I got used to that layout on this one's immediate ancestor. I don't hit the wrong spot so much as forget that the spot I'm aiming for is now an Alt key.
@rekiwi That sounds dope! I wish my kids were so eager for cycling! I’m trying to show them it’s an adventure, but age is their limit for now (7, 5 and 0,5). I’m a gravel converted roadie, doing half of the yearly distance at night, so I hope one day they will go out with me instead going to bed…😂 We will eventually get there! @cycling@rower
My 8 & 11yo boys race track cycling during summer. The local club charge $A5 (=€3/$US3) per session which includes use of a track bike and about 3 races over the course of 2 hours.
Emphasis on fun. They both get up early every Sunday and prepare their own bags so we get there on time.
o jeżu ... #Kołobrzeg ma problem z wyborem standardów. z jednej strony "chwali się", wysokimi standardami DDR i CPR, a z drugiej strony ta nieszczęsna kostka bauma.
@ssamulczyk pewnie że dasz radę po wszystkim jechać. ;-) tylko wkurza mnie ten brak standardów, co widać doskonale w Kołobrzegu. Przy promenadzie od grzybowa ciągnie asfalt, potem kostka, by znów był asfalt i wyprowadzając Cie w stronę Ustronia masz znów kostkę;-)
Chyba że przewidzieli możliwość rozebrania ich na wypadek podnoszenia się poziomu morza.

The Clan, album "Here to stay" - kiedyś słuchałem dużo celtyckiego punku, później nieco zarzuciłem. Natomiast ten krążek włoskiej grupy trochę przypomniał mi tamte czasy. To dobra, skoczna, nieprzekombinowana muzyka, której bardzo miło się słucha.
The Dreadnoughts, album "Roll and Go" - ...tak jest też z The Dreadnoughts. Bardzo lubię ten zespół (bodajże z Kanady), a oni bardzo lubią kulturę Polski, bo nierzadko dośpiewują coś po polsku. Zwykle przekleństwa. To bardziej folkowe granie niż większość tej sceny, takie trochę ogniskowe, ale świetnie można się przy tym pobujać na krześle. Choć chyba mieli lepsze płyty.
Forlorn Hope, EPK-a "A Debt Paid in Blood" - już kiedyś pisałem o tym holenderskim blackmetalowym projekcie. To po prostu dobry BM, bardzo nowoczesny, ale jednocześnie hołdujący "klasyce", choć też pewnie może być określony jako dość generyczny. Niemniej, warto sprawdzić.
The Interrupters, album "In the Wild" (i ogólnie) - chyba nie pisałem nigdy o tym zespole, a warto - słucham ich już od dawna. To amerykański zespół, który gra coś w rodzaju ska rocka, a więc są motywy punkowe, reagge'owe i nie jest to taka szalona jazda bez trzymanki. Tym niemniej, świetne dźwiękowo gitary, chwytliwa melodia i przede wszystkim ten zachrypnięty, niski głos Aimee Allen robią roboty. Polecam sprawdzić np. "Take back the power".
I've been enjoying Nexomon- Extinction so far, it's a sassy game that's quite fun to play! The game mechanics work as intended and there were only a few things which I questioned before an NPC provided an answer. Leveling up my Nexomon seems like a potential slog though, I've gotten used to experience sharing in Pokémon games; I must unlearn this behavior. There are cores which can act like an Exp Share, which is nice because there are two party members that don't need to hog a large chunk of experience! I've been juggling those cores around to passively level up Nexomon which were behind in levels while using stronger creatures to tank damage.
I appreciate the game's aesthetics because it reminds me of older Pokémon games, while remaining unique. The setting matches up with the desperate situation this world is currently in as there are settlements and camps throughout the land outside of their one big city. Humanity seems to be close to potential extinction. Nexomon Tamers are responsible for desperately keeping the wild Nexomon at bay so others can labor on in safer surroundings. I'm going to keep playing today and get further in! As the need to know what happens next is strong, I felt that similarly with Coromon too.
