In response to complaints about overwatch 2 removing free cosmetics, we’ve decided to make them purchasable only with uplay coins, which are themselves only buyable via Microsoft Rewards Points. See you on Bing!
Does lemmy provide mods with the ability to block submissions based on url yet? Wondering how much relies on manual modding and what tools lemmy needs to improve on.
Got me wondering since mod tools back then had been one of the reasons cited for why apphookup didn’t end up migrating.
Yea, my cities' bottleneck was always getting the traffic to be able to have the hearses do their job. Somehow that's what causes a city to stop growing, compared to other factors like the economy.
I appreciate that they are continuing to improve the game. I hope they will add some new subclasses, spells, and races eventually. It would give the game some serious staying power.
My weirdest video game would be “type of the dead “.
Your character runs around a post apocalyptic earth with a weapon that looks like a Sega Dreamcast converted into a backpack with a AA battery below it. When the zombies appear words and sentences appear on them, and you have to type out the words and sentences to shoot them each letter gives you a bullet sound.
It is incredibly fun, and if I could easily put it on my iMac, I would
P.S.I have no idea of the grammar I’m using is correct. this is all talk to text.
I definitely gotta admit, this is one of the most impressive parts of the game to me.
Having played the original Baldurs Gate and Baldurs Gate 2 by BioWare, its really kind of amazing the depth they’ve given this game, which is arguably very inspired by what was done with Dragon Age Origins (follow ups maybe not so much).
Except it really is like playing the two original games, just with the ability to get a super close up look at your party, as well as as a high-level overview of the gaming space.
So far, the game does a stellar job of providing a truly cinematic experience during dialogue exchanges. One of the more recent RPGs that people claimed “set the bar” was Witcher 3, and it had a lot of people gesticulating from the waist up for the most part. So much of the game is so fully detailed, and yet has reasonable system requirements compared to current PC specs. It really is a stunning achievement, and a near perfect follow up to the classics.
It's the second article from this site I've seen today - both posted by the same account - and they've both been horrific. The Cities: Skylines 2 one had some awful title gore, too.
Part of me wants to just block OP so I don't ever see this website again. But part of me doesn't want to because I want the news still, and I think there can be valuable discussion in the comment sections even if the article itself is awful.
Wouldn’t it have been a surprise if it didn’t have them? The way AC was monetized in the past I’d be shocked if they switched back from that without a huge backlash
That’s what Square gets for failing to read the room. Nobody wants a DMC-like. If they had made it a Souls-like people would love it. Also, this exclusivity bullshit makes you irrelevant. Make me wait years for PC? I can wait longer for a sale. Or forever.
I think the reviews have shown that a lot of people wanted the DMC stuff. But there are only so many PS5s out there, and we live in a world where PC market share has been steadily rising for over a decade.
