With the Milwaukee, you hold a button and flick your wrist to open/ close it. makes it easy to use with one hand. any knives with a regular blade that do this? thanks...
You might also look at knives with an Axis-lock type system. It’s not identical, but rather than a button press you slide a stud with your finger, so it has the same easy one-handed opening and closing. That used to be limited to Benchmade, but it’s now available pretty much everywhere. I really love my Kershaw Iridium: kershaw.kaiusa.com/iridium.html
I have a 2021 MacBook M1 Pro and tbh, I do most of my gaming on it anymore. It has no trouble with even modded Minecraft, although I haven’t been able to use shaders without the fps dropping lower than I’d like. I can’t imagine it’d have any trouble with Sims 4 either
In my quest to find awesome games that aren’t well known, I came across StarSector a couple of weeks ago and I can’t put it down. It is the same addition that I had with Factorio and Balatro in recent times....
Man, I haven’t played that since it was released, but I remember it being absolutely amazing. I should check it out again, but with the RimWorld release today I think I’ll be busy for a while…

My takeaway is that it’s only original Rogue fans that care about the delineation of the terms. Is there a modern (i.e. post 2000s game) that matches the definition of a roguelike as given in the article?
They both have random generation of runs, doesn’t even have to be a dungeon crawler. The only difference is that a roguelite has meta-progression: you in some manner earn resources from each run that allow you to gain advantages on future runs
Against The Storm. It just came out of early access, but it’s been in a better state than many released games for a long time. It’s a fascinating roguelite city builder. You build up small settlements to a certain goal before moving on to the next one, earning you meta resources to give yourself more options on future settlements.
The best part is there are so many variables that go into the location and your goals that no two settlements feel alike, and 20+ difficulty levels so you can find just the right spot for you. The devs are very good at listening to the community and constantly updating the game.
It’s also on sale for $20 right now! I can’t recommend it enough. They’ve somehow found the perfect combination of chill without being boring.
