With the Switch 2 rumours and 8 Deluxe ending it’s DLC soon I imagine it won’t be long before MK9, maybe even a launch title for the Switch 2 depending on when it launches
True Mario kart 8 is peak Mario kart. I feel like they’re either going to keep adding content to it or do something new with the franchise like double dash did.
This is the mobile game rather than one for console. There could be one for Switch 2, but they haven’t even finished the DLC pass for 8 yet so it’s likely a ways off.
The key for me was using the pile bunker. The charge attack chunks the spider. And then I went with reverse joint legs. You want to stay right under it as much as possible in the first phase and those legs help greatly with that. Fit high stagger shoulder weapons and whatever you want for the other arm. Then in the second phase the legs allow you to stay in the air much longer and you want to focus on stying above it. Just keep pounding it with that pile bunker. Took me 2 or 3 tries after I figured out that setup
Pile bunker is genuinely my favorite weapon in the game. That charge shot is a pain to land but there’s nothing better than staggering a chunky enemy and just gut punching them into oblivion.
I fucking hate modern copyright laws, but NGL, this is a reasonable copyright claim-- the trailer has so many elements that, while pribably original, look lifted from Metro. There is no reason that he cant be in the SETTING, but the monsters, mechanics, lighter, and the fucking ad poster looks lifted from Metro.
Well the Curtis rifle is hardly forgotten-about, it’s just that high ROF weapons that can charge are super tedious to wield in this dual-wielding meta.
The issue is not open world. The issue is bioware. At this point the only thing that could get me interested in ME or DA again is if someone else gets the rights to the IP.
He has pinned a comment on the first video saying audio won’t be a problem going forward. Not sure if that’s for the videos already out, or for a new batch of videos though, haven’t seen the first batch yet.
That’s kind of stupid, Moscow metro station IS an anti-bomb shelter designed to surviv an atomic blast, anyone who’s visited knows this, they can’t copyright something that is real, is like if someone made a game setup in New York and the makers of Spider-Man sued them.
I intend to take all the accumulated experience from working on PoH and release a new game in the same genre, but without using the Moscow metro setting. I will also likely seek the support of a major publisher this time around to ensure avoiding copyright issues.
Maybe the publisher would be able to help them with that and encourage them to keep the Russian metro setting?
Yeah. With how copyright claim happy companies like Take Two Interactive are I could see them doing that to any game set in your New York that had a slightly brown hue. Would be a funny trend though if publishers started going to court over the piss and shit filter that games of the mid 2000s had like Fallout 3, GTA 4, and Resident Evil 5.
The premise is pretty absurd though. Just because your game was popular in the west means you now own the Soviet aesthetic. Never mind the dozens of other titles that have done it but haven’t seen widespread acclaim.
A quick google revealed nothing, and looking at some in game footage those look like generic monsters, but so do the metro ones so they might be copies, but I can definitely find games older than metro with similar monsters for sure.
