If you read the article this isn't purely about the Epic game store but around the publisher of the game who was bought out by Epic. there are about 30-50 reviews per month for the title on steam. So I think its a safe assumption that it has at least sold some copies in a period of 2 years. There were at least 70ish reviews for the Holiday "expansion" standalone in 2 years.
I haven’t really played a single Call of Duty game since the original COD4 Modern Warfare. Am I missing something? Didn’t Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 come out back on Xbox 360?

The Blizzard launcher is just for the few games Blizzard is selling. It asked me to go online way too often. Maybe every single time, I don’t remember exactly. It’s a bit like that Rockstar launcher. I don’t see any value in it besides auto updates.
Molyneux is the Shyamalan of video games. He’s done a couple of brilliant things, some decent stuff, and a lot of batshit crazy cringe-fests.
New titles are like Christmas poppers. You look forward to them because you remember that first time they were fun, but then you crack one and remember they’re mostly a mix of disappointment and the faint waft of gunpowder.
I really like this comparison. Dude has publicly gone on record about how he regrets utilizing hype irresponsibly. I think acknowledgement is all we want, and plenty of people still like fable and black and white. I would root for him to have a bit of a comeback.
The truly horrifying combo is Battlemaster+Gloomstalker+Thief with a couple specific hand crossbows and the sharpshooter feat. All that Dex + 15 AC from Yuan-Ti scale mail they sell at last light means 4 attacks per round each and 20+ AC.
Oh, and stealth, and lockpicking. Astarion? Never heard of him.
Had to use a bonus action for something? Then you've got battlemaster ranged moves to fear, trip, or disarm. It's disgusting.
In games where you spend a lot of time in coversations it makes sense. Fallout New Vegas is one of my favorite games but if you do nothing but max Speech it turns into easy mode.
As a Unity dev of 6 years, playerPreffs (the unity system that stores data in the registry) are a good place to store small amounts of data in a dictionary style structure quickly without creating your own data system. But they are extremely limited in the types of data they can hold and the control a dev has over them. Whenever I see playerPreffs used I think the dev must-have needed something quick and easy. They may have also created their own registry save system in that case should be an easy fix. (De)Serializing json or even custom binary files in compartmented files in a defined folder like StreamingAssets gives much more flexibility in data types and control. I was actually wondering if anything like this had happened before when I bought starfield. Starfield and a lot of games will have a deluxe version that you can buy that includes the dlc when it comes out, for cheaper than buying the base game and dlc separately. I was curious if any game that pre sold dlc like that failed to release the expansions and if so, what the outcome was.
