Strasznie szanuję nagrywającego za to, że chciało mu się kopać z tym nieprzyjemnym typkiem. Widać mocno ich stresuje gdy spotkanie nie idzie według scenariusza.
It originally was a dlc. They decided the scope surpassed that, though, and they also felt constrained by the class and upgrade system of the base game.
I’m so, so, SO, excited for this. The first Talos Principle is my favourite puzzle game ever. The puzzles were intricate but always fair, the story was surprisingly deep for a puzzle game, and the locations and soundtrack were beautiful and relaxing. I recommend it to everyone who has even the slightest interest in puzzle games.
If the sequel delivers an experience that’s on par with the previous entry, we’re in for a treat.
I wonder what the story will be, though. The first one had a very satisfying ending, and I hope the sequel will build upon it in interesting ways.
Really looking forward to this for my handheld coming. Hopefully the Z1E works well with this. I returned my Ally waiting for the next big handheld and realized how much it changed the way I game.
Downloaded Forspoken demo yesterday, turned on FG and it was horrible, artifacts everywhere, then I remembered it needs vsync, turned it on and it was awesome, it bumped my ~30fps (rx6600 on almost need details) to very comfortable 60fps without any visual glitches
There was this weird metallic glow on everything dark though…
For me latency is becoming the next issue. Based on Dlss3, not to mention you’ll usually use it in conjunction with other latency damaging things like RTX, I don’t think I’ll ever use frame-gen. It’s just very noticeable and makes it kind of pointless outside cutscenes for me.
You make a very good point about cutscenes. I’d love if there there was a frame gen & upscaler that exclusively worked on pre-rendered cutscenes to fix the issues in older games of cutscenes looking way worse than gameplay. I know for popular titles, there are sometimes mods that replace the cutscenes videos with upscaled versions, not having to fuss around with that could be really neat. But for gameplay, I’d much rather play at even 50fps native with variable refresh, without artifacts or additional latency, than a faked 120fps that still runs at 60hz of latency with added artifacting.
I’m excited for this. Its a shame they don’t allow dlss upscaling to work with AMD frame generation. Hopefully they can work out the kinks with vrr though.
I posted elsewhere about my setup. I have a rig in one room and a mini PC set up as a “console” using HoloISO connected to a TV. I stream games to it.
If it’s your only rig I recommend what the other person said. Get a full PC or catch a gaming laptop on sale unless you have a very specific use case. You can play modern games on higher end ones but you’ll get more bang for your buck out of a PC. You can make your own Ship of Theseus and upgrade parts one at a time.
