There needs to just be a Mortal Engines game at this point. Like honestly it would translate pretty well to some form RTS type game, what with the whole geopolitical nonsense that’s present throughout the books.
Just saw an interesting exhibit about societal shifts! It reminded me of the pressure cooker atmosphere in Papa's Pizzeria when the lunch rush hits – total chaos! It's a daily class war between hungry customers and my frantic attempts to fulfill their orders. Anyone else ever feel like managing Papa's Pizzeria is actually training for something bigger, like global domination? The struggle is real, folks.
I thought rogue one was an excellent movie but I always had a grudge against it for taking Kyle Katarn absolutely out of the picture in regards to retrieving the death star plans
Just make your own head canon. You can watch Andor and R1, play Jedi Outcast, and read the OG Thrawn Trilogy. That’s what I do. It’s all made up anyway.
Well you see, when Disney bought Star Wars, they took a look at all the amazing EU stuff and said “nah, we don’t need any of that!” and promptly threw it in the incinerator.
I’m slightly on the young side for FMV games, but Jedi Knight and Command & Conquer were childhood staples that shaped my tastes in so many weird ways. JK is up there with the original trilogy for “Star Wars that is good and I care about.” Katarn is easily the coolest Jedi.
Mapocolops played through Dark Forces II recently and it was incredible watching those FMVs again that blew my mind as a child. I will always love Kyle Katarn.
However… the level design is absolutely wild! I have no idea how I got through that game as an 8-year-old!
I think it’s interesting that Microsoft is leaning into Windows on Xbox devices. It lends credibility to the rumor that the next Xbox console will run Steam natively.
Absolutely. I am just fed up with MS regarding their increasingly shitty Windows. Forcing “AI” whenever possible. (No, I don’t need outlook to write emails for me. Thank you.) And generally just funding this AI craze.
Looking at the US PS store, atm Lies of P is on sale at $29.99, and this expansion goes for the same price, bringing the total to $59.98 if you buy them separately. This seems like the best option right now.
If you are a plus member, the Overture bundle, which is the exact same thing but in a single purchase, is on sale for $60.29 (31 cents more). Otherwise it’s $89.99.
For me personally, I’m interested in the game, but my time is split between so many other really great games at the moment that I don’t see myself really tempted into purchasing this until the bundle gets to something like a 50% discount.
