The PS1 games on Android are also 50% off. Although on my device, I can’t buy them directly because it’s “not compatible”. But I can buy it on an older device, and it will be available for download.
You might enjoy CRPG Addict’s blog posts about his adventure in Wizardry for DOS.
I beat it through emulation and save scumming, but his playthrough was a lot more tactical, and now Im starting to understand I’m not support to just hit the attack button over and over again!
This was the whole ethos of the first Star Wars films - Lucas made a point of getting everything look worn, to the point of having a term for it: the "used universe". Exemplified by C-3PO's whole look, Luke's clothes or even Han Solos's sweaty shirt.
It's a shame he seems to have completely forgotten this when it was time to make the prequels...
I'd argue it wasn't forgotten in the prequels. Most of the characters and plot revolves around and is supported by very large well funded organizations (Republic, Trade Federation, ect) which means the clothing and equipment they have is less likely to be worn down. The same can be seen in the original trilogy with the Empire, storm troopers and imperial ships are well polished and not "used".
Have you ever tried to setup a Windows container let alone one on an Xbox? Even Microsoft knows windows containers are fucking shit, just look at azure Linux, it’s the entire reason for it’s existence

The Xbox System Software contains a heavily modified Hyper-V hypervisor (known as NanoVisor) as its host OS and two partitions. One of the partitions, the “Exclusive” partition is a custom virtual machine (VM) for games; the other partition, the “Shared” partition is a custom VM for running multiple apps including the OS.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_system_software#System
Xbox already runs two VMs. Just throw in a third with real Windows.
Here’s hoping it makes a splash and can stick around this time. I feel like unfortunately there are so many good games to be playing at any time these competitive online games are so much more likely to fail even if they’re extremely high quality.
Why did Polygon include the CTWC video at the top of their page instead of BlueScuti's?
They are already stealing his views reposting his entire video with some bullshit commenting from them over the top of it and now Polygon is supporting that kind of behavior.
My favo games from the past few years. I absolutely adored every single one of them. Sad to see them go. This final dlc is on the expensive side imo, but I got them all, just to show support. I do very much look forward to playing them.
If you’re trying to do it legally, you can easily to rip your own ps1 games with a drive bay. Haven’t tried it on PS2 or ps3 games. And ps1 emulation runs amazing on phones and raspberry pis.
I’m still confused about this game. Is it truly an MMO where hundreds of players will be running around the main towns? How will the game handle all these players romancing the same characters, for instance?
Or is it like other multiplayer survival games where it’s just you and your friends sharing a persistent world?
looks like your “home” is instanced and just for you - and then you go out to the “MMO” world.
but even that doesn’t sound like “MMO”, but now every game where you can see someone random online seems to grab that description.
either way, I think it looks worth checking out, since as a man in his 40’s, I am clearly the target audience for happy fun times games like Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, and Disney Dreamlight.
