I played this about a month ago after it was on sale. I genuinely like the survival/crafting genre and this was a fun way to experience settings from a series I’ve loved. I also had a lot of fun playing through this even with the “floaty” combat and optimization issues. As long as the developers continue to update the game to help it run a little easier, it’s definitely worth picking up if you’d like a new spin on the genre. Played on PS5 and it got very warm.
Same. I played it on Game Pass a couple years ago and actually got really into it. I had to make myself hunker down for the first encounter with the other, though.
Thank you for putting so much effort into these posts. I rarely comment but I always read them. It feels like reading an informal short review of a random game every day, like having a friend telling me what they played the day before. Sometimes I even add the game to my wishlist.
I’m glad you like my posts! My goal was to introduce people to a new game every day. I have way too many games in my Steam library and I’ve barely played a quarter of them, so this forces me to try something new every day and share it with others.
Max Payne 2 is one of my favorite games of all time. It’s the only game I ever finished, then beat 2-3 more times in succession on increasing difficulties just to get a different ending.
After I finish Alan Wake II, I’m considering going to Max Payne 2 (though I have a lot of games I keep piling onto the list of what I want to play. So who knows. The Steam Sale coming up certainly won’t help). If it’s anything like this one I know I’m going to have a good time though. Remedy is masters of their trade it feels like
Some people believe the Sega Dreamcast was a superior console but that it failed to appeal to the mass market because the Playstation and the xBox also had the ability to play DVDs.
At the time DVD players were very popular and a standalone unit could cost in the ballpark of £100, so the ability to get a 2in1 unit that played games and DVDs was very attractive.
Well it’s likely, the expeditions make everyone go to the same spots and this one is particular is supposed to be done without hyperdrive, so everyone is going to visit the same 5 systems and their planets.
I’ve been playing mostly expeditions for a while (on PS4, occasionally VR : on a non-pro PS4, this is rough). I am getting a PC VR headset soon so I am waiting for that to double dip and make a clean save again.
Good thing is there are ways to unlock past expedition rewards on PC. I’d have no way to transfer them otherwise. They need to stop this limited time FOMO bullshit. I understand why the old expeditions themselves can’t be maintained but there should be ways to get the unlockable stuff.
It feels like only a few weeks ago that i started posting screenshots. It’s hard to believe i’ve played through two large games in such a short amount of time. 100 days really feels longer than it actually is sometimes
