This isn’t a collectors edition though? It’s not even a steelbook. The word collector isn’t even used in the marketing. It’s just a physical release of a free to play game.
As I have seen similar statements about purely singel player games, it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest to hear it about an MMO. Were there dose exist a minuscule level of reason being it, not good reason but there is still some reason in it. With the singel player games there is no reason what so ever.
Implying that game cases end up in the trash… especially when they’re usually used to hold games these days?
You need to see more game collections! Haha
People have been deriding digital-only games for years and years now. While a stupid F2P game isn’t the best thing to put on a disc, I can see why people might want it.
I worked at GameStop a long, long time ago. Lots of old console games that couldn’t be sold went right to the landfill. Xbox 360 for example. So many niche small games that no one wanted even when marked down to a dollar each. We’re talking tens of thousands of them just in one small city alone. I’ve also been to a lot of thrift and antique specialty stores in my area, and there are so many plastic case games there people are trying to get rid of. Hundreds of them. No one wants them anymore. Eventually all this plastic is just going to be thrown into a landfill. Those who actually keep this stuff long-term, maybe they don’t have a lot of games or they have the space for it. But consumerism is a major issue across the world that we are struggling to keep up with.
Some guilds expect their members to be ready for new expansions I’m sure they would make an exception for this fella but he seems to proud to admit he can’t afford the expansion.
A gacha game asking money for something useless? That’s the entire model!
Players that buy stuff in these games usually see it as a donation to devs making a good game. If nobody bought any of the useless stuff the game would shutdown. That’s how I treat the $10 a month I spend on Reverse 1999. Or they’re a gambling addict and can’t stop themselves from spinning the wheel.
I feel like my day isn’t complete until I’ve seen one of your game screenshots. I actually have nearly zero investment in the games you’re actually playing, I just appreciate knowing that things are still going well enough for you that you get some time to play a game and post.
I hope you have a good life, thank you for bringing a warm glow into mine.
Me too, its good to see it. I wanted to actually join in myself, but I didn’t want to take away OPs show, and I didn’t want this community to become people just posting daily screenshots of games they’re playing. So I opted to not join in.
But I enjoy seeing OP post these, even if I don’t agree or like every game choice.
How straight forward is modding new Vegas on the steam deck? Keep meaning to go back to it but I’d prefer to play it on my deck and I just can’t imagine ever going back to vanilla NV.
I believe that Vortex, the nexus mod manager, has Linux support now that I have heard is fairly straightforward but I haven’t tried it myself.
I will say though that I recently used Vortex for modding my Fallout 4 playthrough and it was a breeze on windows while using a Nexus mod collection. Takes a lot of the pain out of modding for sure. So if you can get their mod manager running I think it’s worth a try. Could be as simple as downloading Vortex, finding a collection of mods you like, downloading the collection (usually a temporary subscription is nice for this, and then running the game. You could be done like I was in a matter of a couple hours.
I much more enjoy providing updates on games and screenshots that are tied into them instead of the usual Scenery shots I do. I feel like it makes for a much more interesting post
I took the walkway that runs from the dish to the cliff side, and just booked it while taking pot shots with my grenade launcher. It took me about 3 tries but i eventually got out
Oh, man… sorry it’s coming off like that. Since it’s called the Humorless Toaster, the main inspiration is Ron Swanson. At least that’s what I was going for…
Agreed, wider and thicker with maybe a wavy/ ridge texture on the bottom half of the mustache and slight rounding/flaring on the sides that narrows to the top.
Have you tried a design where it has a mustache for a mouth? As another lemming described, wider and wavy at the bottom. And then it can move up and down when it talks?
Hitler’s mustache was initially longer, however there was a decision to trim it. There are various theories as to why it was trimmed and shaped into the toothbrush as we recognise it for today.
