That’s so cool how is he so causal about all of that. It looks like one day it will be able to handle running jumping and all kinds of movement. Vr is going to be better than real life.
I'm curious what AI Shark is supposed to do. If it's just an LLM with hints that's not gonna "eclipse the original GameShark's triumphs tenfold". I'd still rather have a cheat tool than a glorified Clippy for walkthroughs.
Insomniac, the dev team behind the wildly successful Spider-Man games just had a leak. In the leak, it’s discovered that they were strong-armed by Sony (who owns Insomniac) to downsize staff despite exceeding sales targets and hitting goals. They needed to downsize to help balance Sony’s books, who have acquired a slew of failing or underperforming studios.
Sony owns Studio A, and Studio B. Studio B have underperformed for the last few years, whilst Studio A has outperformed their targets. Because of the shortcomings in Studio B, Sony are now out of pocket, even accounting for the earnings of Studio A. Studio A are forced to eliminate staff roles to make up for Studio B’s mismanagement. A well oiled and well performing Studio have to butcher their teams to balance their parent entity’s books. It’s so fucking short sighted and stupid.
This isn’t just a Sony/Insomniac issue either, I guarantee this goes on throughout the industry whenever there’s a parent company. It’s just how it will always be in those circumstances.
Larian Studios made a beautiful game without microtransactions, battle passes, and other BS! I think not being on GamePass is quite alright as they deserve the full asking price for this wonderful game! I am going to buy Baldur's Gate 3 for my Xbox because I love the game so much (I also want to create a Charismatic Terror character...This gives me the excuse to do just that).
Still, not entirely sure who this is supposed to be for. The poor battery life, lack of Bluetooth, and the inability to play media is just disappointing, even at 200 dollars. Just feels like there are better ways to play PS5 games on the go than this.
I get that things felt sparse but Starfield does have over 200 hours of content. That’s roughly how much went into my first playthrough and I never felt like it was repetitive. I also didn’t go for completion so there were likely another 100 hours I skipped.
So it sounds like the developers had a better bead on why D2 has been losing numbers and there’s no way for them to provide feedback. And as a result, they were probably tied into the layoffs. Talk about some obvious mismanagement. The wrong person was laid off.
Does anyone else have a fuckton of raid banners because EGC is so overly fucking complicated and super costly to have your team wiped after an hour of play to the point that you cannot scrape together enough players that KWTD or want to grind to make it worthwhile?
Yeah. That’s why.
There’s only so much crucible a person can take. And trials oozes with player toxicity. Gambit was kinda fun at first but now it’s rife with balancing issues which the devs seem to have lost all interest in addressing… And for whatever reason the most recent clothing styles are hideous so even the aesthetics are not exactly grabbing attention.
Bought it when it first came out to continue playing with my friends who played from Destiny 1. It got old really quick. I didn’t really enjoy it as much as the first game and I was really confused by the lack of character building in game. It felt really directionless after finishing the main quest. And I learned pretty quick that I wasn’t attached to any of the in game characters the same way. So I quit playing after about a year. Never picked it back up.
