Oh my god the protags of dw worst movies should be the antagonists of story mode, trying to conquer dw by winning the race and become the next ceo just to force another movie of their shitty ip.
Imagine will smith fish saying midrace “if i win, my movie is gonna reference among us. And covid 19.” And his victory dance is him flossing.
Hope they work out with the original voice actors and actresses to bring them on the project. The Nickelodeon fighting game felt really flat because they didn’t had any voice acting.
I thought they added some later. I mean, Garfield was Frank Welker and not Lorenzo Music the way he should be, but Lorenzo's been dead for a while, so you take what you can get.
I can't imagine them getting stars like Will Smith, Ben Stiller, and Jerry Seinfeld for this project, so they'd have to use sound-alikes anyway.
Sleep research has moved on from recommending that everyone needs 8 hours or more of sleep. It’s nothing more than a myth now. Everyone is different, and for most adults the amount of sleep necessary in order to be fully rested is considered between 7 and 9, meaning a lot of people are perfectly fine with just 7 hours, and some need even less than that. In fact this review from 2 years ago suggests that we can’t even guarantee someone will be noticeably impaired with 5 or fewer hours of sleep.
For a long time, I didn’t feel fully rested with fewer than 11 hours of sleep… meaning, except for some weekends, I felt like a zombie all the time… but could fall asleep and take a nap any moment anywhere, for a few hours of wake up time worth (great for exams, conferences and the like: nap half an hour before, go totally fresh, fall on the nose afterwards). Then, last year, got some serious case of insomnia where I could neither fall asleep nor fully wake up for like a week straight… that was much worse, felt like going crazy, had to start taking meds to sleep 2, then 4, then maybe 5 hours, and still wake up feeling like a train had passed me over. Then like a month ago, suddenly fell asleep at around 7pm, didn’t take my sleeping meds, and woke up totally refreshed at 2am… the F!
So, based on personal anecdotal evidence… I’d say sleep is a mystery, and I want my cyborg on/off switch now, please… 🤖
You might want to look at getting some tests done. I’d look at Sleep Apnea and Thyroid tests. Those can be major issues that don’t get looked at often.
Having a long commute has taught me the valve of going to bed on time. Despite having to wake up at 4am I can easily hit that 8.5 hour mark most nights, just by actually turning off electronics and such. I also sleep really well cause of it.
Before anyone comments I don’t have any children so yes I know it is easier for me but this post is for those who are on the same boat as me. You signed that right away once you had kids (which is the main reason I am waiting till I am a very good position in life to have them)
Yeah, this is me too. 6.5 is my magic number. If I get less I’m tired, if I get more I’m really tired, so I’ve stuck with this for a while. Also found that sleeping in about 80 -90 minute intervals is the way to adjust when I need to. Don’t wanna interrupt a sleep cycle.
I used to be the same, but when I started working out (going 5-6 times a week depending on stuff) I could be knocked the fuck out for 10-11 hours. Whenever I wake up from my long sleeps, I feel amazing, so much so I feel I have the energy to do whatever - something which I needed use willpower to push through whenever I slept 6-7 hours.
