Still on that World of Warcraft Remix: Mists of Pandaria grind. I just finished upgrading all my gear, so now I'll focus on unlocking all the cosmetics and stuff. I also started a second character, a Priest, but I don't really enjoy it right now. So, I'll probably just use this mode to speedlevel a few characters, that I'll never touch again.
I’ve been getting back into anarchy Minecraft as an old buddy of mine is kinda resurrecting a base I used to be active at.
The scene is mostly dead, on our main server it’s 2 to 4 players on average which is crazy to me. It used to be from 50 to 100 most evenings.
Now I’ve got a 2 million blocks trip to make, even auto walking on the nether roof that’s gonna take some time. But it’s also an occasion to revisit some historic milestones along the way! I was able to get my hands on one signed book a friend had given me some time before passing away so it’s also kind of an emotional journey.
Trying to finish the Horizon Forbidden West story, but it’s a bit meh. Really sad about that! The HZD stories were great, and the world is as beautiful as ever, but I stopped caring at some point with the newest one. Other than that, I just bought the Age of Wonders 4 season pass and am trying out the new races and traits.
Right now I’m playing Begin Again: Tale of Two Wastelands, it’s a mod for New Vegas that let’s you play through FO3 and NV like they’re two halves of a whole game.
I got randomly recommend “Kena: Bridge of Spirits” recently by Steam and decided to go for it. I just finished the story and it was definitely a good recommendation. Hard enough to make me work for it, which I always like. It is kinda short though, finished it in like 12 hours. It’s a bit janky at times with the camera and jumping, but overall a great experience.
Picked up Paper Mario TTYD on Switch to see what all the hype is about, and yeah honestly all the OG fans were right about it. It's the best one I've played in the series by a longshot.
Without context, I would assume Sticker Star and Color Splash released before TTYD - as if they were still figuring out where to go with the series, and would eventually evolve into something better as technology advanced. Then TTYD comes along, and not only has more mechanical depth, but also so much more life and creativity in it.
