Playing on my Oldschool Runescape ironman. I’m currently grinding out cooking so I can cook my own sharks. Other than that it’s a bunch of stupid farm runs. >:(

I played through DREDGE, which was a cool little indie game. I also played through the DLC The Pale Reach, which added another short side story.

This isn’t microtransactions as they are usually implemented.

You have access to all of the content in the game for the sticker price, and that’s all that matters to me.

Not really a time waster, but a classic: Lone Wolf Saga

Alice, do gaming w What are some games you find yourself frequently coming back to?

Paper Mario for the N64 and Super Mario World for the SNES. I think it’s because I found them both at the perfect point in my childhood where they were the first games in their genres I managed to beat.

I had a blast finding every single exit and bonus stage in SMW, and Paper Mario was the first RPG that didn’t make my eyes glaze over (including Super Mario RPG). Plus the characters and aesthetics are still so charming, the whole game gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.

Satisfactory, I’m hoping to get employee of the planet cup before 1.0 comes out.

Angband. I don’t stick with it long, but I always come back, even though I’ve never killed Morgoth or the Balrog in Moria before that. Still, I enjoy it for a while and then move on again.

CharlesReed, do gaming w Anyone else have a fleshed out game completion list or am I just properly insane?

I have various lists here and there, like one for everything I have on Steam, one for Epic, one for GOG, another for games I'm playing through GamePass.
Don't even get me started with the physical binders I have dedicated to achievement hunting, maps, and notes. So, I get it.

not insane, I’ve never took the time personally but this is inspiring for sure

bloodfart, do gaming w Flashy, simple souls like?

you want nioh and nioh 2.

flashgnash,

They look a lot like regular dark souls to me. The combat looks good but I think part of what I think of when I say flashy is abilities other than just hitting things with a weapon, movement abilities, magic that isn’t just standing back and pelting something, dodges that teleport you behind the enemy etc

bloodfart,

I mean, nioh 2 has a whole tree of magic abilities and a whole tree of ninja abilities. All the weapon types have abilities you can unlock that force enemy movement, parry, make you move etc.

It’s about as far into character action that a souls like game can get before it becomes something else. It kinda already feels like something else with all the mechanics and numbers and stuff pushed out in your face.

Are you looking for something more like bayonetta or god hand?

Whatculture gaming is decent enough.

Some hosts/writers are more genuine than others.

Jules is GOAT.

I don’t watch it all the time, but it’s usually up-to-date gaming news.

paddirn, do gaming w Anyone else have a fleshed out game completion list or am I just properly insane?

I keep a collection on Steam of the games I’ve beat and just add them into the collection as I go. Going back through prev pre-Steam pc/console games I’ve beat probably wouldn’t take that long to remember I guess, but I don’t know where I’d store it or who else would care in my life.

wasted_in_time, (edited ) do gaming w Anyone else have a fleshed out game completion list or am I just properly insane?

Nice. What are you using? And how far back did you go in games beaten?

I’ve thought about having an Excel sheet for it. I’m currently just categorizing my steam library to Complete, Pending, unplayed.

ClaireDeLuna,

I’m using LibreOffice but word would work just as well. I thought about Excel/the LibreOffice equivalent but I’m just not familiar with it enough to be useful with it.

And this is generally every game/franchise I own/want to own so it goes as far back as I can make it go back. I also plan to add a LOT of games via emulation that I used to play when I was younger.
