I’m an American citizen living in the Netherlands; I have a renewed 5-year residency permit. Am I allowed to sign? I’m guessing no, but maybe there’s an allowance for EU residents, not just citizens?
Minecraft. At some point you run out of ideas what to do. There are mods over mods. Some are great but most are buggy or half-implemented. Official updates are ridiculous. Oh a new material! Look a new cute animal! And they would just have to take inspiration from the vast amount of mods…
Or maybe Elite Dangerous. This game is amazing but with a story line it could be so much more!
Everyone was calling it “stop killing games” instead of “stop destroying games” and I literally thought it was a petition to stop games with murder and violence lol never even got farther than seeing the title.
Definitely a good idea to switch over to stop destroying games if that wasn’t the official title already…
I played the Wii U remaster a few years ago over the summer, and I absolutely loved it. I was ashamed to say I wrote it off initially as not for me because I just couldn’t vibe with the opening’s length (compared to OoT’s “Get in this Tree, kill a Big Ass Spider, Get out”). But once I spent some time working to get past that? God. Amazing. It was one of those games where i actually felt lost after the credits rolled. Very few games do that to me.
Yeah doesn’t happen for me very often either, but happened twice to me in about a month now. Finished E33 recently and it was a hell of a ride the entire time. But then after that I went on to play Nier Replicant for the first time. Damn, I need a therapist after games this hard hitting.
What about the 92 metacritic score and the vast majority of reviews calling it “better than the first game in every way” makes it look like a 5/10 for you?
What was the biggest complaint about the first game? It was boring. Kojima over did it with the crazy stuff to counter that complaint. You have many musical moments and the final boss fight like he just watch FLCL for the first time. I like the first game’s more lay back vibe.
The first game is a ton of fun. And seems to have been an 8/10 game. This one is evidently more so and is a 9/10 game. How you get 5/10 from that I’ll never know.
I tried Destiny 2 when it was free on PS+, the base version or something, and loved the gunplay. The feel and handling of guns and shooting was really good, but the story part was pretty confusing, so didn’t continue playing.
And the fatal flaw is that it’s basically dead, the sequel will never release, and the “sequel” we’ve got in Apex Legends is nowhere close to how good tf2 was
I’m glad you are enjoying it, but I wonder: how much of the enjoyment is inherent to the game and how much is just having a good time with your mates (and would be equally fun in any other co-op game)?
I think it’s a combination of both. I enjoy the core gameplay (I’ll sometimes play a few games by myself), but I think if it wasn’t for playing with friends I definitely wouldn’t be having as much fun. The fact that im not really one for public matchmaking doesn’t help either
It’s a question I ask often in multiplayer titles, because my experience with most of them is that as long as you play with your friends the actual game doesn’t really matter and you could pretty much have a good time goofing off in anything.
There are some exceptions though like Split Fiction.
It’s a fair enough question. It’s one I’ve asked myself a few times with other games as well. It’s funny you mention Split Fiction because I’ve been meaning to give a try with one of my friends
