naticus,

And here I am blown away by the screenshots and want to wishlist it, only to see I already had it on my wishlist and remember NOTHING about seeing this previously.

naticus,

Only thing surprising is that it took this long for it to happen. Everyone else knew that there would be immediate forks made but seems they took a month to catch up to speed with the internet.

What games do you recommend for my girlfriend? angielski

My girlfriend has never really gamed. But she’s now forced to move less than she would like to (health problem) and she’s getting bored. I was thinking of introducing her to a game or two that we could play together. She’s not the real action game type, and seeing as she has no experience with controller/mouse and keyboard...

naticus,

Was just thinking about My Time at Portia. Pretty new gamer friendly and when things start feeling tedious, a new mechanic is introduced to make everything you were doing easier. Haven’t played My Time at Sandrock, so can’t speak for the sequel.

naticus,

Yeah really sounds like the organizers are out of touch with what the competitive, organized teams are needing. And $400 entry fee? Yeesh, that’s how you get an immediate no from all your casual teams and then your pros see there’s no one signed up.

naticus,

And “Remake” is really a subtitle because it’s not a remake of the original, but rather a sequel.

naticus,

I kept trying to figure out the joke about the name Swen Vincke and was failing. Cocks. It was right there in front of me everyone. It was Cocks.

naticus,

And on the other hand, Karl Jobst has always been very well researched in his videos, so I’m a big torn here. Definitely going to keep an eye on this and see where it goes before making my own conclusions.

naticus,

Lemmy isn’t supporting Nazis, you’re being downvoted because making accusations without sources is just yelling into the wind. “Just Google it” and “do your own research” is synonymous in practice and adds nothing to the conversation and only is rumormill level gossip.

Provide links to some sources if you have some legit concerns, because that’s definitely news to me.

naticus,

Essentially “Remake” was the subtitle of the game, rather than a term like remaster. It was subtle until the end, but you’re remaking the story’s timeline. It’s a sequel, not a remaster or reimagining of the original.

Also, yeah you’re definitely high. Like damn dude.

naticus,

Lol your link confused the hell out of me until I realized you were linking from your watch later list.

naticus,

Yeah, it actually opened my own watch later list. Never seen a YT link do that.

naticus,

In no particular order:
Witcher 3
Trails/Kiseki series
Mass Effect series
Outer Wilds
Doom 2016

15 Underrated Indie Games (youtu.be) angielski

The AAA gaming space can often lack innovation, so people usually turn to small indie studios for something fresh. Whether it’s for unique gameplay design, beautiful aesthetics or satisfying combat, these 15 overlooked indie games stood out to me. This is my top 15 list of underrated, hidden indie gems for PC that I enjoy more...

naticus,

Wow, was surprised to see there was a mention of MO: Astray. I got I as part of a Humble Choice bundle a few years ago and randomly gave it a go. Didn’t look at anything about it, which is not my usual… MO.

ANYWAYS, I absolutely adore this game and highly recommend. Like he says, the game is very clever, never outstays its welcome, and it will surprise you regularly. It has a solid storyline and the way it tells it to you is unique, but I don’t want to give that away.

I’m always trying to find new Let’s Plays of this game, it’s just a satisfying romp.

naticus,

I wanted to say Outer Wilds too simply to have OP join us in our search for that high of another player experiencing this game for the first time. Nothing quite like seeing the game “click” when they finally get those big plot points.

naticus,

Lol I don’t even have to imagine that. It’s funny you point out 23 years because that’s exactly how long I worked at my previous job before moving on in 2022.
