Irrelevant. This game is purportedly built using the original doom engine, while almost all other FPS games since Doom are designed with similar mechanics.
As graphics increase in quality, the desire for developers to fill spaces with clutter grows – which makes it harder to make meaningful levels with thoughtful design.
Looks like I’m in the minority, but I subscribe to Nintendo Switch Online. My wife and I enjoy the extra Mario kart courses and I personally enjoy the N64 virtual console.
Don’t get me wrong, the only Libertarianism I’ve ever known is intertwined with Capitalism. But they aren’t the same thing, and I always read BioShock as being a take on Libertarianism specifically.

Awesome writeup. I had heard that some very special individuals were trying to paint this company as “pro-woke”, and therefore any game they touched should be avoided – and that’s obviously going to be nonsense, but it’s good to see the full story.
I don’t disagree. But the inciting incident was when an official Street Fighter tournament went awry when the person hosting left on a nude Chun Li mod. I imagine they’re specifically trying to prevent that from happening ever again.

Yeah I don’t think anyone realized that everyone got the same word. Can’t blame em for babbling about it, but it’s a major bummer because now I’m obviously not going to play.
It’s a first person puzzle game. You move around the world interacting with various elements, such as laser redirection, to obtain the keys needed to progress. There’s an interesting story going on at the same time, which although I didn’t find it super compelling, it was good enough to keep my attention to the end.

I just finished Chants of Sennaar. It’s a puzzle game that has you deducing out glyphic languages from context to find solutions, and it’s super satisfying.
I’ll add that my understanding is that you aren’t even prompted to choose a pronoun in-game – it defaults to one or the other based on your character creation choices, and you can then change it if you want to. It’s literally a non-issue.
