CPU usage in Monster Hunter World is also quite high and installing the performance boost mod from Nexus doubled the FPS for me. I don‘t think I have a single Japanese PC game that doesn‘t have performance problems.
If you wanna pirate a Denuvo game, you better get comfortable cause those take a long, long while.
I wanna say they‘re not chasing whatever FROM‘s been successful doing recently, but… yeah
I absolutely love Nioh and Nioh 2, avoided their parry game because of mediocre to bad reviews like these, and this now is a PS exclusive so I guess I don‘t even have to make up my mind…
Hidden Through Time 2 and Monument Valley 2. Just small games where I liked the first game, I‘m still far from done with my Xmas purchases so no need to go harder for me.
Lots of the DLC crap was stuff you unlocked by playing in the past. I remember playing DoA 2 and unlocking costumes, DoA 6 has like 2000 bucks worth of DLC costumes or some crap lol
Anything with pixel graphics or at least no 3D graphics. Slay the Spire, Spelunky, Super Meat Boy, Stardew Valley, I bet Rayman Legends, these kinda games.
3D graphics can run well too if the game‘s sufficiently old (Half Life 2).
Monster Hunter World. I‘d kill for a DLSS3 and FSR3 mod for this game, I want better AA and frame gen so bad. I tried FSR3 in Skyrim and Starfield and it‘s mindblowingly good, so smooth.
I wish they‘d stuck with what USUM did visually but in higher res and obviously with more eye candy. Neither the hardware nor the studio seemed to be ready for full 3D Pokemon.
My pipe dream is a bunch of new indie studios forming out of all these layoffs and kicking publisher‘s asses on sales with new competent and passionate games.
…But I guess they‘d then probably sell to those publishers again and repeat…
